Foodie Trails reviews
18My mum and I had a great time on the Foodie Trails in Moonee Ponds. Himanshi is very friendly and knowledgeable and took us to some great places. We met some fun people and had amazing food and drinks. Well recommended
My second tour with Foodie Trails and had a very enjoyable experience learning some more of Melbourne's cultural history and it's influence on cuisine. Wonderfully hosted by Janet.
Well organised, knowledgeable and friendly guide, delicious food. A great way to explore Melbourne!
We went for the Melbourne Foodie tour not knowing what to expect but were absolutely blown away by the attention to detail of our guide Annalisa and the route we were taken on. It's not just a foodie tour which does a great job of feeding you at great establishments, but also includes touring of the city's hidden secret spots and a beautiful spice shop. We've been on many tours but can't say we enjoy them as much as we did this time round. Definitely a must on your Melbourne list. If you have the honour of having Annalisa for your guide, you can be sure you're in for an extra good time!
An absolute foodie's delight, the tour opened up so many cultural aspect of different International cuisines made its way to Australia.
Whether you are a foodie or not, a tour with Food Trails will make you a tourist in your own city.
Loved every stopover at the trail and every dish that was served with precision.
Needless to say, your host (Himanshi) will take good care of you, while she dives deeper into a bit of the historic aspect of it.
In short a must do trail if your visiting Melbourne or even if you happen to be a local.
Such a great experience doing the Flemington trail today. Not only did we learn a bit of history we got to sample some amazing food. Make sure you add this to your list of things to do.

The Sri Lankan online cooking class with Masterchef contestant Dee Williams was great: in 80 minutes, we'd whipped up a delicious barramundi curry, spiced rice and fresh, zingy salad. Dee shared great tips about the timing of the meal prep, how to combine the various spices and how best to bring out each one's individual flavours. My hot tip: do your prep first using the supplied recipe notes, so you can keep an ear out for all Dee's expert advice. She sets a cracking pace, so there's dinner on the table in no time!
Lovely day exploring the cultural culinary delights of Melbourne guided by Himanshi. Delicious food and plenty of intriguing information about some often overlooked gems in our city. Great to experience my own city as a tourist and find even more wonderful places to dine
I did the African Foodie Tour and it was a very enriching and culturally informative experience. As we cannot travel overseas right now this satisfied my need for adventure and exploration. Himanshi was a lovely guide and I was introduced to food and flavours I had never experienced before. Thank you:)
Fantastic experience learning to cook indian curry and desert. Received lots of tips and enjoyed the company of fellow foodies in tasting what we cooked at the end.
Attent Foodie Trails hands on cooking class
Last year, everyone had opportunities practice with the cooking demonstrator.
Excellent experience. Best all, we all enjoyed meal together.
Well done.
10 months after I still can't get my class. This team makes classes every second Wednesday with full moon. Classes cancels and reschedules for any reason.
Is there a more passionate and knowledgeable crew when it comes to Melbourne's global food scene than the Foodie Trails team? We don't think so. We've been fortunate enough to work with Himanshi and the team over the years with several events that they have run. Always professional and showcasing the most authentic and very best foodie experiences. It is always a pleasure to work with Foodie Trails.

Cooking classes were really good and I gained confidence in the kitchen by going. I think the tours are overpriced however, and the Turkish one was a little disappointing because the meat in the restaurant wasn't that good. The African one was better though.
Thank you Foodie Trails for a great home cooking experience. Loved the experience.and the stories by Himanshi that bought the dishes and the culture to life!
Gastronomic Vietnamese Cooking Experience: My husband and I had an awesome night making delicious slow braised beef short ribs. Leanne was incredible, providing handy tips and techniques. The flavours had depth and richness. Other couples made authentic recipes such as Spring rolls, Crispy pancakes and nuoc mam dipping sauce. It was an unforgettable four course meal, complete with the obligatory rare beef pho. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
