Foodbank Victoria

Such a valuable service that is provided by a massive army of volunteers who are some of the most loveliest people on earth.

On a side note, it says a lot about capitalism and lack of government support that people now have to depend on services such as foodbank just to be able to survive.

Foodbank keeps our welfare agency afloat. Without their cheap food items the needy in our community would be far worse off. Thank you.

I absolutely love the work you guys are doing supporting Australians in need and doing it tough. We recently had to isolate for being positive for covid and no one could help us bring food and supplies. Foodbank was able to deliver essentials and food for myself and my family including a baby and we are so thankful. Keep up the amazing work foodbank

Cannot highly recommend volunteering highly enough. All people are super friendly and any help you provide feeds people and keeps them from hunger.

You would think that with the amount of “corporate sponsors” that they would be set to handle our current crisis but they’re really not.

I would urge everyone who can afford it to give a little right now, we can’t afford much and we’re only able to send $50 but for the amount of good these guys do I’d urge to give every little bit you can.

That word can is very important.because a can of beans is 50 cents. A whole loaf of bread is $3.
In this country, in which we pay $50 for a bottle of wine in a bar, nobody should go hungry.

$10 could buy 5 tins of beans and 2 loafs of bread. With change for a pack of supermarket snags. I’m sure these guys are more efficient than that but how about we think. “I’ll buy the bottle of wine that’s $10 cheaper but I’ll send the money here”.

The volunteers at Foodbank do an amazing job. So many families and individuals across Australia depend on Foodbank - they are bringing an end to hunger and food insecurity one meal at a time.

I can only find information on how to volunteer which is Great but how do I become lucky enough to gain access to some of this food I'm starving and would love to find out about this company

Where would we be without Foodbank? ! A coordinating food resource for charities across Victoria. Not accessible to general public. Volunteers and staff very cheery and helpful, and a good range of produce available for charities to help people in need.
