30I had an amazing experience, I had the pancakes and it was so yummy and fluffy will definitely go again.
Perfect friendly country Cafe with delicious food and great menu variety. Attentive staff and beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
This is the second time we have stopped in Heathcote and on both occasions the meals have been delicious
While driving through Heathcote a few weeks ago my husband and I stopped for a coffee at Fodder. The open sign was flashing but when he tried the door it was locked. Hubby got back in the car and as we about to leave the Owner came to the passenger window to ask if we wanted coffee. He popped around the back of the cafe and then returned with coffee and Yoyos for us both.
When we went to pay he would`nt take our money, apologising for the door being shut. The coffee was very good and large.
How generous. Thats not something that happens often these days. We will be calling there when next we are passing through.
Thanks Fodder.
My husband had an egg and bacon roll and cappucino. I had rice porridge with coconut, hot chocolate and glass of juice.
The food was good. The serve of porridge was more than I could eat. Personally, I found it uncomfortably sweet.
I think they may have been short staffed that morning, because it was a bit chaotic and the waitress apologised for, or thanked us for our patience with, the delays more than twice.
Great coffee, very friendly staff.
Seems lots of locals visit too which is always a good sign
Five thumbs up
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Definitely recommend!
Great place for a lunch or coffee. Great coffee, and delicious reasonably priced small (ish) dishes. Were happy to make custom toasties & pancakes for the kids. Friendly and quick service.
Definitely would come again.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Fodder during our weekend stay at Heathcote. The food and service (staff were friendly and very attentive) were exceptional. Highly recommend the baked eggs and meatballs. Coffee was great too.
If you want to freeze whilst eating breakfast that is just appalling then look no further then Fodders. I made a reservation based on their ratings but my goodness the entire family was disgusted. The cafe itself is gorgeous and so is the crockery but if the food you serve is worse then what a 3 year old can whip together that says a lot. A simple cheese toasty was Helgas sourdough with Kraft singles sliced cheese (yuk) I could go on forever but I’d waste my energy.
Lovely little cosy Cafe with friendly staff that went out of their way to be super helpful and very nice food at a low price
What a beautiful little find, called in on the way home from Bendigo for brunch. I had the rice porridge which was to die for. Tasted like rice pudding with apple crumble on top. Lovely staff. I will definitely call kn again when in the area.
Visited for first time. Very warm welcome from staff, great food choices and very reasonably priced. Will be back again and again.
Fairly ordinary. FILO parcel filling very dry. No pies. An ordered glass of wine never arrived and no apology. Go across the road to Gafneys bakery
Our lovely local. We’re very fortunate to have this gem just down the road from us. Lovely food, great coffee and fantastic service. Don’t even get me started on the cakes.especially the hummingbird!
Went with friends from Melbourne, the service and staff very friendly, efficient polite and food was amazing especially the pork belly my favourite, good serving size, wiil be back - highly recommend:)
Amazing, delicious food, awesome coffees too. Aaron and his team are friendly, welcoming and fabulous. Great cafe vibe. Would definitely return whenever I'm around the area.
Wow what a find absolutely charming atmosphere, food, staff and management. Just we will go back
Stopped here for brunch and opted for the chicken and dill sandwich due to lack of breakfast options. I would never usually order a sandwich at a cafe, but to be fair it was delicious.
Followed this with a cheeky slice of chocolate cake, which was possibly the best I've ever eaten!
Good food; just wish there was a more expansive menu.
