This florist is one of the best I’ve come across in many years. The shop front is modern and unique, the staff are warm and friendly. And the owner is personable and engaging.

I come from Sydney originally and worked in advertising right in the CBD, I’m first to admit I’m super fussy with floral arrangements and this florist doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to aesthetics and beautifully put together arrangements.

I can’t speak for the one experience of a lady in a mobility scooter that clearly asked her friends to leave terrible reviews on this small business based solely on her personal experience of an incident outside of the shop, but what I can say is that when I met the owner of this florist I had a completely different experience.

The owner is lovely, warm and helpful. She was genuinely interested when I told her I was now a local and I’m the director of a small special needs dog rescue. She introduced herself and unprompted, she encouraged me to reach out to her & the business if ever we needed support for fund raisers as she often supports a lot of local charities and organizations.

I do hope that people reading these reviews can see through the mob mentality of others leaving irrelevant & personal criticism.

Nothing about this florist screams outdated or unfriendly service.

I only wish they were open on Sundays and for longer hours! But that’s purely from a greedy perspective

Flowers in a Vase made the bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding and we honestly couldn't be happier with the result. They were so beautiful, my wife said her bouquet was the most beautiful arrangement of flowers she had ever seen! Arne was so easy to communicate with and even personally dropped them off the morning of the wedding. We weren't exactly sure what flowers we wanted in the bouquets, but from discussions with Arne she was able to create the most perfect bouquets, better than we ever could have imagined. Most beautiful bunch of flowers I've ever received, delivered to my door. They were excellent quality and lasted a couple of weeks, continuing to open and bloom. Generous, interesting combinations, but also classically beautiful. I would just stop and gaze at the flowers every day and see new things. The owner is very lovely and friendly. I've bought a little volcanic plant as a gift and she was very helpful with care instructions. Highly recommend! Will buy from there again:)

Flowers in a Vase is a beautiful shop with a very thoughtful and dedicated small business owner striving to provide a wonderful experience for all!

The owner is rude, condescending & abusive towards vulnerable persons.
Absolutely horrible towards a lovely disabled lady, for travelling past her shop, on a mobility scooter.
The owner not only publicly bullied a person with disabilities, but refused to apologise.
I urge anyone with a shred of decency, to avoid this place entirely.

I've really appreciated Arnie's attention to detail and her creativity - the flowers we had for a recent birthday celebration were just wonderful!

Got our wedding flowers from this place. My wedding bouquet and other floral arrangements for the wedding cake and the venue were absolutely stunning! The flowers were fresh and beautifully assembled. Arnie was also an absolute pleasure to deal with during the whole process, kind, patient and very helpful! I would absolutely recommend this shop to all those considering wedding flowers! Thank you Arnie!

Owner of this shop abused my disabled friend for no reason. She clearly needs a lesson in empathy. Shocking and disgusting behaviour. Do not recommend

Owner of this shop is an horrible abusive woman.
She Verbally attacked and aggressively followed a handicapped woman shouting at her for riding a mobility scooter in front of her shop.
She doesn’t deserve to be in business when she would treat such a vulnerable part of society so disgracefully.
Plus, her flowers are pitiful and her arrangements outdated. Especially her wedding arrangements…so 5 years ago.

Go here if you want to be confronted by an ableist, rude owner who thinks it is her personal business to admonish people using mobility scooters on a public path she deems reckless and "speeding". Disgusting behaviour, reported to Council. Shame on you. Disabled people do not need your opinion.

Berating people in mobility scooters just for riding past your shop is a horrible thing to do. You should be ashamed of yourself.

The owner of this business is hateful towards disabled customers and will harass you for going by her business in a mobility scooter.

Would not recommend if you support human rights.
