Flourish Cafe Olivers Hill reviews
39 Food was amazing! Coffee is amazing!
Will definitely come back when we are back in Melbourne
Love this family owned cafe! Sensationally fresh & interesting menu, coffee great & an odd glass of vino always available. Staff funny & friendly. Always Welcoming
Friendly staff, efficient service, lovely weather helped. Day of the week helped with parking situation.
This is a lovely, relaxed little cafe. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food fantastic, and the portion of outdoor or indoor seating is appreciated. Importantly the coffee is great! Well worth a visit.
THANK YOU CHARMIAM for the most amazing customer service. From the very first second we set foot into Flourish, we were greeted by this bubbly and friendly Charmiam who took great care of us. Shes even a natural at upselling! Even at the end when we needed takeaway boxes for our leftovers she was on break and just saw us come in with our plates and ran to our rescue. I am a support worker, and my client enjoys going out for coffees and brunch. But we find that a lot of cafes lack on customer service where my client ends up getting anxious and wants to leave halfway. But being at Flourish yesterday was a highlight for my client she thoroughly enjoyed it and we have the lovely Charmiam to thank for that. She went above and beyond for us. So now I have added Flourish to my clients fav cafe list we will definitely be back!
The savoury muffins were absolutely divine! I had mine with salad and my client had hers with chips. She also had a jelly cake which she also enjoyed on our long drive back home. Beautiful hidden local gem! If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. Has many seatings available outside such gorgeous setting!
Friendly staff. Cafe is pleasant and interesting. Can cater for all kinds of dietary needs
We absolutely love going out for breakfast at Flourish so decided to give the Monday night pasta a try - it was amazing! Food was incredible, service was amazing and the ambience was just right. Great value for money - we will 100% be back!
Cafe near a supermarket, at a hill top location, near a nature reserve.
Had a nice BLAT and coffee here.
Great food bit not a great environment to eat in.
Young wait staff with no initiative. Food served with no cutlery, no stock of water for patrons and they had to continually told what to do, then, publicly and loudly called out and chastised in front of patrons.
Not a peaceful Sunday breakfast.
4 of us alked in and was completely ignored for for 5 minutes, we ended up just leaving and going next door to the Mr Frankie cafe and the service and food was fantastic.
Dark brunette, so helpful she's lovely, can tell shes been there a long time as she knows all the answers to my questions (future manager here!) food is nice, price is okay.atmosphere lacked but i get the impression most are locals, would recommend takeaway.
Beautiful service provided by young female who was vibrant and and just happy to be alive.will be returning! Xx
Walked into the cafe, and was waiting a while for service so we asked one of the staff if we just sit anywhere and he said “yeah I guess” which wasn’t a good start. We had to fetch our own menus, and if that was normal it would have been nice to have been told that from the beginning. We then went up to order and the person serving wasn’t very friendly, we order egg on toast scrambled and was told that they ran out of scrambled egg but I guess they had fried and poached? I asked them how is that possible and they just looked at me like I was speaking another language. They could have told me it was pre made for example and that’s why they ran out but it doesn’t take much to scramble 2 eggs together to make scrambled eggs. Anyway long story short horrible service and rude staff.
Been going to flourish for over a decade.
Fantastic food and coffee, great service in an extremely welcoming environment.
Awesome food, awesome people, all-round amazing. We entered during a really busy time when all neighbouring restaurants/takeaway joints were off on holiday, but this didn't change our experience. Staff were friendly, greeted us and attended to our needs whilst being flat out. The beautiful outdoor area was even better with some nice sun and cold drinks. Meals came in a timely manner, and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Beautiful joint in Frankston South that I recommend all should check out!
Fantastic Cafe. Food is amazing, coffee and tea is beautiful. Staff are lovely. Definitely a little gem
I'm not one to put bad reviews up but being talked to rudely when just asking a question in my eyes in not on. If they do this to other people I don't see how they keep business. My Coffee was also cold but after being talked to rudely I didn't want to mention anything about it. For me they lost me as a customer and won't be going back there.
Amazing Cafe, plenty of outdoor dining available, they take the safety of the staff and customers seriously as seen in the photo. The staff are always lovely here, would recommend!
Always good service and good coffee! Food is also fresh & tasty. Good spot for a relaxing lunch or afternoon catchup with friends, covid restrictions permitting.
Small local cafes usually get 5 stars from me, so it pains me to only give 3.
I just got some takeaway coffees. The hot chocolate was cold, the latte was meh, and the wet soy chai hadn't been strained! I'll try again once lockdown is over, I really hope to boost it to 5 stars, it looks like a lovely place.
