Flourish Babysitting

Deb from Flourish Babysitting was absolutely amazing at our wedding on Sunday. She worked from 10am-10pm to look after our 16 month old daughter. She was very attentive and interactive with our daughter, would sing songs to her and play with her to keep her entertained. She helped with feeding her meals and stayed with her while she had naps. She helped tidy up when our daughter was with others. She was a pleasure to work with and we'd happily have her back for any future babysitting needs.

Brock did a wonderful job as a baby sitter for our 5 month old daughter at our wedding. He was so helpful and attentive and managed her challenges so easily. Highly recommend!

Before Flourish Babysitting - I’d never had experience with nannying, but I knew our family really needed the extra helping hand. I received lots of skepticism from other mothers who told me to not get my hopes too high. I signed myself up to FB groups and nanny websites, but I hesitated to trial anyone who was interested - they seemed qualified but they didn’t seem ‘right’.
I couldn’t be happier that I went through Flourish because we found our dream nanny (Joni) through Brock. The communication and expectations are set upfront and clear, and Brock’s very open to listening to my needs/worries/ramble. Being someone who’s never had experience I would’ve had a lot of anxiety starting those conversations upfront myself.
I know this may sound like a funny perspective (because how can we live without coffee) … But I’d rather buy less coffees and clothes, and spend a little more on the BEST nanny experience my children can have - and I’d say if you went through Flourish - that’s what you’ll be getting. AND if you’re the luckiest person on earth, you might meet Joni:)

We used Deb from Flourish Babysitting this past weekend and she was fantastic at looking after our 15 month old and did the whole evening/bedtime routine with ease. She kept us updated throughout the night so we were able to relax and enjoy the wedding we were attending, knowing our daughter was in such great hands!
The communication before and after the evening was also very easy and Brock was friendly and easily contactable. I definitely recommend Flourish and will use them again in future.

Brock was so incredibly helpful finding us a sitter very last minute when our sitter cancelled. Our babysitter was just wonderful and so great with the kids. We had a great experience and couldn't recommend Flourish higher!

Brock wonderfully comforted and engaged with a 2 year old during a night time transition. He went above and beyond in making her feel secure and safe. He was very approachable, send updates to Mum thoughout the event as per instruction. He was very kind and generous with his time.

Brock looked after a 2 year old who hasn’t had been babysat before. He was extremely kind, compassionate, resilient and understanding. In light of the situation, he tenderly supported both mum and the daughter. He came with a wonderful basket of engaging goodies for play and helped with settling her to fall asleep. Brock’s administration prior to the day was wonderful.

We hired Brock for the first time recently, to have our 2 young children. His communication is prompt and thoughtful. The minute he walked in the door we just knew he would be a great fit. He is friendly, so accommodating and fantastic with the children. The children took to him right away. He took them to the beach and had them entertained for the whole day! We came home to the kids tucked up in bed, and the kitchen cleaned! We really couldn't have asked for a better first experience and we will definitely be using his services again.

Immediately when we first met Trish, we both connected with her calming energy - just a lovely soul. It has taken many years to get to a place where we thought we could trust someone else to look after our kids (outside of family). Brock at Flourish has been professional and responsive from the outset helping us to get set up with Trish. We have felt very confident and assured leaving our kids with her - she comes with many years of experience and is just a total pro at this. We're now able to have kid-free, couple time - THAT is amazing.

We used Flourish babysitting for our wedding and we’re lucky enough to have Steph look after our toddler at the event. Steph was amazing to deal with & our toddler took to her so quickly, it made the day such a breeze knowing he was in such capable & safe hands. She went above and beyond & I would not hesitate in using her & Flourish babysitting again in the future. Both Brock & Steph has been so professional & easy to deal with during the whole process of arranging a sitter. Thanks again!

We recently had Brock take care of our 4yo and 18mo boys. We were very impressed, very professional and calm, clearly a great carer. I also appreciated the tidy up of the kitchen! We have had Stephany take care of our little ones before too and she is equally wonderful.

I couldn’t recommend Flourish babysitting more highly. Brock has been amazing with our 2 boys (3 years and 11 months) since day one, able to build rapport with our older boy who has autism faster than I thought possible. Always on time, totally engaged with the boys and goes above and beyond. We always have peace of mind when Brock is looking after our boys.

Brock has been brilliant, when working with our 2.5 year old son. He is caring, and engaging, willing to spend the day supporting our son with a range of activities; including toilet training. Couldn’t recommend him more.

Without a doubt the best babysitters in the Mornington peninsula! Brock baby sits our little 10 month old and she loves him. I couldn’t recommended him enough. He’s super flexible, even does events or late nights.

Brock has been working with my family for the past 13+ months, and he is truly one of a kind in his approach to caring for children and household alike. He is an experienced, proactive and professional carer who continually goes above and beyond for our family. I have had Brock babysit for my kids on multiple occasions over the last 18 or so months and each time there has been no issues. The kids talk about him for days afterwards. Would highly recommend him services.
We have also had Monica once and she was equally amazing, kids were instantly comfortable making it much easier to leave for our night out. Will keep using for sure.
