Flouch's Point Lonsdale

The eye fillet here was probably the 3rd best steak I've ever had. The 18 hour slow cooked lamb was just as good. Nice little restaurant with antique setting.

Old fashioned setting which is fine if the food is amazing. I guess it’s a very old guesthouse, so very traditional.
The calamari entree was tasty and the sticky date pudding was fabulous!
The duck was bland and swimming in sauce, but the lamb was very tender.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Knew nothing about the wines on the menu.
I suppose the best available in this location. Not blown away, but satisfied.

We were a party of 17, and Michael dished up his fabulous food with ease. As always the meals were delicious, fresh and the duck a consistent standout. Michael has excellent wines at sensible prices and will always recommend. Another great night in Pt Lonsdale.

I made a booking for 2nd June being my girlfriend's birthday. Unfortunately she has come down with Covid. When I let the proprietor know Im cancelling it due to this reason, they charged me $50 a head so $100 for two of us.
Dont think I will be visiting Flouchs soon.

Fabulous meal at Flouchs. Service was attentive and friendly. Meals well proportioned, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the calamari! Definitely worth a visit if you come to Point Lonsdale for an overnight stay

We arrived early and agreed to have a walk as they assured us they could then give us great service. When we returned asked what non alcoholic drinks were available and were told coke. Asked if could have lemon lime and bitters and waitress had to check. All ok and ordered bread rolls to start with (usually supplied free with dinner). We’re told it would be out straight away but still waiting 45 minutes later. Said we were leaving if not served in 5 minutes - these freshly baked rolls were cold! We had steak and snapper - steak not medium rare and potatoes with the snapper were hard. Left the premises but had tummy upset 3 times before I even left Point Lonsdale! Not recommended to return!
