Flight Centre Highpoint

Absolutely shocking and very unhappy customer.
Paid over 10,000aud on a holiday Including travel insurance (the best and most expensive one the agent roped us into) and yet am loosing thousands of dollars,
300 per person cancelation changed for flights
300 per person cancelation charged for cruise and then loosing 25%

Accomodation still to early to try get a refund.
Won’t be back to these guys, they are stealing our hard earned money. Not a good look from a big business

At this time of destress all the manger chloe and Olivia care about is their lost commession. They have no knowledge about what is going in the world yet they want to keep you on your trip rather then help you get a refund. They are good to you when you are booking until you had your credit card over

They ask for you
To review their customer service after ignoring your emails for weeks on end because they want to keep a portion of your holiday - then they threaten you for leaving feedback on their Facebook page. I don’t they will be around once this is all over. But I would never step foot into their store again. Their customer service and lack of compassion for people at this time will come back to haunt you

I went with my husband to book a holiday to London. It was suppose to be our first trip overseas in 30years. We were sold a package which included return airfares 3 week accomodation and the captains package for $12k. We were told that the captains package was to protect us incase airfares went down.

The hotel that was recommended to us was disgusting, no clean sheets, bugs everywhere, it was more like a hostel. At flight center we were assured it was at least a 4 star accomodation. On the night we checked in we contacted flightcenter to organise other accomodation as we could not stay there for the 3 weeks it was so disgusting. Flight center told us that because they booked through Expedia that Expedia could not refund anything as they booked the no refund options. What flight centre offered us was to book another hotel we would need to pay for all the new accomodation and loose the money for the current booking. When we asked at the hotel about the accomodation they said If we had book the accomodation through them the cost for the three weeks would have been $1850aud. We were charged over $6kwith flight center. What we found out is that they charge a markup of up to 40% for certain bookings.

After this we researched the flights. If we had booked the flights ourselves the cost would have been $1850. We were charged over $4k with the 40% markup. When we asked about getting the money refunded as they have we had purchased the captains package. They said that the captains package didn’t apply to the airfares we purchased. So basically the lady we spoke to said that she saw us coming a mild away two vulnerable 60yeara olds and sold us up on everything.

So anybody going here do your homework and don’t trust them.

I had to cancel my trip due to my wife unfortunately becoming ill on the day we were meant to fly out for our honeymoon. They helped me rebook our trip asap without any difficulties. Would recommended to anybody and will definitely be coming back for future trips!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I just called about a trip, and the horrible woman, tried up selling me. I said no i don't want tours and whatever else you're trying to see me, and with that she said, go book it online.hung up in my ear.

Prefer Student Flights as the deals are often better and for no apparent reason as these are sister companies

Mainly helpful but they don't go out of there way to try to serve you without the wait. Other then that if your willing to wait, they have some deals that can be worth it!

Worst customer service. Happy to take your money but then don't want to know you if there's a problem. Also, a ripoff! I recommend webjet.

Katie did a wonderful job helping us plan our honeymoon! She was so professional and friendly - we'll definitely be returning!

Excellent Service from Julie (The manager) - Easy to deal with, patient, understanding and really knew her stuff - we will definitely be booking another holiday with her.

If you like overpriced flights you can get way cheaper on webjet then this is the place for you

The staff are friendly but sometimes you have to wait a while to speak to someone. Having said that, it's worth the while and I've used them multiple times for my travel needs.

Really long wait times for someone to be available. Probably easier to organize your own flights online - and cheaper too

They had a few issues with the gift card so it took a bit longer but the man who served us was very friendly. Got my tickets sorted no hassles.

Fantastic service, very professional and experienced team, have been booking here for years and always have great staff who go out of their way to find best deals - wouldn’t book anywhere else!

Really expensive, was quoted roughly $9400 for a trip I could get online for $4600. Ended up getting it for $3500 by Brunswick Travel and Tour. The little guys are always going to try harder to help you out.
