15 I went to flight centre to help with booking my flights as I was concerned, having not travelled in a while that I may make a mistake with transit times or who knows what else when booking my flights. I trusted their expertise in travel and was sadly let down and had to pay for a whole new set of flights on the day of travel.
I booked flights between NZ and Belize with Emilie in early 2022 and was not provided with any advice that i would need to get a visa to transfer through the USA as part of the flight route. Or as it turns out a visa waiver. This was the exact reason people book through flight centre, to let us know of any traps that may stop us from getting to the final destination!
In addition to this, after i paid for the flights I received no further communication until just before i was to leave. This includes not receiving my flight itinerary until then, as they had forgotten to send it and despite multiple calls to the office that went unanswered (too busy) and emails to the agent (she was sick and apparently no one was checking her inbox while she was out for over a week).
Basically I paid an extra $100 or so for a service I didn’t receive plus another $1200 for all new flights and the added stress of trying to track someone down just to send me my itinerary. The only silver lining is their emergency help centre was very kind and found the next best route, but i should never have been in a situation to need them in the first place.
I was planning a massive around the world trip next year. Natalie and the team were helpful and knowledgeable with the intricate minute details of my trip. The next available appointment was the next week to my dismay. I am so glad I was booked with Natalie. Not only was she polite, friendly and efficient, she was giving clear and concise direction to a trainee who needed help, whilst on hold to an airline and simultaneously juggling online chats for customers trips. It was very impressive to witness, though concerning that they have this much of a workload. I was given great advice and prices for the around the world flights on the spot so I left feeling happy and excited for my big trip. Unfortunately due to illness, the trip is postponed until the end of my treatment, but I will 100% be booking another appointment with Natalie to book it all for me. Outstanding work.

I am very happy with the staff at Flight Centre, they were all friendly and were ready to help with anything I needed, I was particularly impressed with Ivo Melas, who helped organised my trip for myself and my family. He was very informative and there was nothing he could not answer. I will definitely go back to plan for my next trip. Thank you Ivo at Flight Centre keep up the good work.
Unprofessional, ignoring requests made 5 times. Stating that they don't have time to attend to queries relating to financial (not Covid related) refunds. Will never again use them.
I thought I'd try Flight centre with assistance for Europe and Central American flights. I ended up with Natalie as my agent. Natalie was consistently inaccurate with pricing of my unique travel path ticket. I made myself clear that I wanted flexibility with my ticket, this was not communicated to me and would only return emails when prompted many times. Lastly I needed travel insurance for my partner for our trip, she said it was not available to her. I ended up calling their chosen insurer to clarify that insurance was available to my partner. I highly recommend to walk on by this flight centre store. The other Brighton flight centre were much more professional and attentive.
Special mention to Natalie who went above and beyond in finding me a last minute flight out of Melbourne! Couldn't be happier with the outcome and her friendly, helpful service made it an extremely pleasant experience. Not only this but Natalie managed to squeeze us in to her already frantic day and i cannot thank her enough.
Will definitely be booking my next holiday with her!
Excellent service. Finding fares online can be a nightmare. Flight Centre Brighton made it super easy to find the best flights and seats. Options for insurance, possible changes etc.were all clearly explained and the whole process super smooth. Thanks Kate!
Travel can be confusing and everything changes quickly. They had good prices and some knowledge about changing rules.
We had brought our flights earlier than originally booked and, with the assistance of flight centre's brilliant and willing agent, were able to fly from Melbourne to Brisbane ahead of Brisbane closing its borders to Victorians. Hats off to Natalie and flight centre.
My new travel consultant, Natalie, is very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to having her look after me for my travel and my travel enquiries in the future.
Went to Lea about booking my Europe trip for later in the year. Waited for her to get off the phone for about 10 minutes for her to give me absolutely no advice apart from telling me that I have no where near enough money to travel and that the geography my plan was 'bad'. I will accept this, however, your job is to offer me alternatives (which you did not do). She essentially refused to give me any help with planning accomodation or giving me rough estimates of flight costs without set dates of travelling. Not to mention, I was scolded for saying I wanted to travel for approximately '3 months' rather than '90 days'. Get a grip Lea
Elnaz and Kate are a dream team! Funny, friendly and knowledgeable about the important things (like VISAS!) and cool things to do in your chosen destination. It's like booking with family:)
