Flemington Racecourse

Fabulous time at Derby Day. The girls all dressed up in black and white. The men looking so dapper in suits and ties. The new Club Stand is fabulous, I love the Champagne Bar, the Rooftop is just glorious on a warm day. New food entries are a welcome change to the boring options we use to have. All in, the races in the members is a great day out, even if you lose a few dollars on a horse.

Great place for music festivals plenty of room but not much shelter available and as always the catering prices are steep food and drink quality is not very good although the the sprinkler gazebo was a great idea and water fountain to refill ur water bottles

It was pouring with rain the day of the 2018 Cup and this venue had no contingency plan for the thousands going. Belatedly they put up shelter but by then outfits were ruined.an umbrella did not stop the rain.

New members club stand is wonderful. Fantastic facilities, good selection of food and drink, at not ridiculous pricing of the past

Special day for my wife's birthday & the rain was unbelievable. Then sun then rain Melbourne! Travelled from Auckland NZ. Made the most of it though.

Oaks day at the Winners post enclosure. A great day with beautiful food and plenty of drinks. Service was fantastic.

Worst traffic if anyone wants to pick up someone from the racecourse. It took more than 1 and 1/2 hours from ballarat road on Fisher parade to get to Leonard street to pick up a group of friends. Never again.

I know we only get general admission tickets but for $100 there is not much that is accessible for us especially on days when the heavens open up

A regular race goer. There’s no place to see horse racing better than Flemington. Home of the race that stops the Nation. Food is a bit ordinary and drinks can be expensive

Melbourne Cup Day is the biggest event in Australia and this year was no different security and police were very helpful with the overall flow of traffic as its always a challenge getting in and out unless you happen to drive a stretch Bentley

No seating even though it was $89 per person. No healthy food. But everything else was well organized.

A great experience, beautiful course, nice facilities, you just need more bar service areas in the lawn stand

For a racecourse that makes a profit in the 4 days of the carnival and everything else is a cherry on top you would think they would work with public transport to make it reliable and of course to make it work. They couldn't accept trains because the lines flooded. Pathetic.
I'd be ok with it except they have an extremely high opinion of their worth.
Go elsewhere if you have a choice
