Flemington Farmers' Market reviews
28This is a perfect ‘little’ market. They have heaps of stall holders. Some coming often and others that rotate allowing you to know what you are getting as well as a new experience. Fruit and veg, flowers, dips to name a few. Fresh orange juice is actually amazing!
Great market, heaps of quality stores, market is on every Sunday. Definitely worth the trip!
Get there early. Especially if you want to park. Nana trolleys were invented for markets. Get one unless you are into muscle building.
Great farmers market. Great location. Happy they moved to Ascot Vale Primary school. Great representation and plenty of sellers. They are there Weekly so no need to go elsewhere. Stall holders need to speed there service up X they take far to long to process orders and customers long lines.
Still worth visiting.
Would love to see a lot more vendors selling fresh produce. A location that has parking would also be more suitable.
You can get nice veggies from here and Gorgeous George is there selling the most amazing vegan pestos and dips. If you want to get lunch at the market there is zero plant based options.
Love it! Local produce, great foods, excellent coffee! Most stalls take card and there's cash facilities available. Definitely recommend taking the time to visit.
Not bad for some fresh food each sunday. Heard it is moving "somewhere" due to the school expansion though.
Great selection of produce from fruit & Veg, to fish and meat and bakery items. A few food vendors and unique offering for pickles and oils. Being spread around the school yard there is plenty of room. Priced OK not overly cheap but if the profits are going back to the growers I don't mind.
Good experience to meet up with friends share some breakfast or to meet the local.
Overpriced vegetables.
Great place, not too crowded. They were doing physical distancing. And vendors were happy to see us. Very nice people.
Great markets with delicious produce, lots to eat with stalls making food while others provide take home food. Great selection of fruit and veg from many stalls, cash out facilities available too.
Great farmers' market with a good selection of produce, baked goods, dairy and some meat/fish. Check in advance which vendors will be present when you go as they cycle.
Overall it a ver good place for a one off experience. Fruits and produce are way expensive than you might expect them to be.and a small loaf of sourdough bread is for $8.:)
Great little market with a good variety of local produce. Stalls do vary from week to week so if you see something you like, you should pick it up then as it may not be there next week. There are a lot of regulars too and are worth going back for.
Great market of local food and produce. Regular haunt of John the oyster bloke. Nice place for kids to play and on every Sunday. Good alternative to Williamstown markets.
Great market! Friendly enviroment with great products. Also very pet friendly. Love this enviroment! Bring your four legged friends along to enjoy the Farmers market
A genuine farmers market in the middle of a city. A great asset for the locals and weekly as well. All the farmers goodies are there. Fruit and vegies, bread, meat, honey, nuts, eggs and lots of other season produce. No crafts though ;)
First time at Flemington Market. Not sure why I have never been, it's wonderful! Big kids climbing area, big grass area, delicious thinks to eat for lunch. Lots of fresh food variety. Easy to park right out front. I had a yummy Daikon Bao for lunch.
