FLAVA Korean BBQ Melbourne Restaurant

Good portion size and refillable side dishes are a plus, but to me the meat flavor was average, and the lettuce was chopped up and didn't allow for proper wrapping. The greasy cooking experience is a drawback as well as they do not have adjustable suction like other restaurant. Also, I would appreciate if the staff would have asked us to move away the cooked meat on cooking plate before she chucked in raw meat to cook. Overall, it’s an average experience for me.

Unlike Korean restaurants in the city, it wasn't noisy, so it was great. The table spacing is wide, so it's comfortable, the meat is delicious, and I can bring my own side dishes, so I brought a lot of green onion kimchi and ate it!
There's a bottle shop across the street, so it's good to buy wine, pay a corkage, and drink wine with meat.

Service: Bella’s customer service is honestly 6 out of 5. She was extremely attentive, polite and nice.

Atmosphere: The restaurant has a nice and chill vibe, and it’s not smoky and chaotic.

Food: We got the pork set for 2 people, and it was more than enough for us. The food quality was good; I’m just not a big eater. They also have unlimited side dishes, which we loved!

100% coming back. Will recommend to friends and family!

The food was excellent, and the decor is lovely. It was nice and warm inside on a cold winter's day, but the huge space felt very empty. The service was friendly but a little slow.
So many businesses have gone broke in the enormous space Flava now occupies. We went for Friday lunch and the place was perhaps 1/4 full - I hope they're doing better at other times. Overall a very good experience!

2 stars for the very limited selection for the price, and how cold it was inside. But 5 stars for the service.

We went there because of all the fantastic reviews, however, the foods were alright and one of the beef rip cut was too chewy we had to ask to swap to a different cut. Way too expensive for the foods compared to other Korean bbq places in the areas like Galbi and Halal. Won’t go back.

Superb food, exceptional service, and on a Monday! Do it, take a few freinds or the family and try it. You definitely won't regret it!

This place is great. Food is really top quality and reasonably priced for the quality. The staff are attentive and do a great job to cook your food on your grill without you even noticing they are there. We will definately visit again

Don’t recommend for BBQ here, the electricity grill was not powerful at all, a lot of water came out from my meat when we grilled it, made me feel it’s similar like a cheap buffet bbq place.

Fried chicken was so so, not like the Korean fried chicken shop, less flavor and the coating was not that crispy.

Seafood pancake was the best bc they put enough seafood in, very generous, but the dipping was so so.

No service was fine for me, but the price was not that cheap for a no service place by we have to cook and cut meat by ourselves.

The ingredients taste fresh and quality. We also loved that they have a variety of pickles and kimchis that you can get refills for. We have gone back a few times already and this place remains our go-to for Korean BBQ

Went there because of all the great reviews… and it was just ok. The food tasted fine but it was too expensive for the three dishes ordered. The waitress was very friendly though.

Great place for bbq. Good options of side dishes that you can refill on your own:) service staff is good too.

Service is great, you can order on a QR Code and the bill will add up, and we could split at the end. Food was high quality and great selection, everything we got was very good.

Great meat and the help your self condiments (Kim chi and the like) is a nice touch.as good as any of the places found in the CBD or near the market. Finally a good local Korean.

I think it should be one of the best korean bbq in Melbourne. All the meats were high quality and taste really better. We can get salad and kimchi as much as you want. We ordered some beef bulogig, which was also really good. It is really good place to hangout with your friends and have some tasty food.

Absolutely delicious! We are full to bursting, everything was so yummy and the whole experience is so wonderful, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended! We’ll be back!

Had the spicy pork rice bowl here for lunch. It was really really good! Fresh ingredients and massive portion for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. Will be back soon, I hope.

Reasonable price and friendly staff. Free flow of side dish, mix salad, lettuce and sauce. Will be back again for sure.

BABY FRIENDLY. I really appreciate the BABY CHANGE TABLE and baby wipes inside Flava's toilet. Good customer service. Yummy food. Will definitely go again with my baby.
