First timers here and absolutely amazing everything from service, to food, and atmosphere. Loved it will definitely be back

When in to have lunch and coffee and the staff behind the counter rudely asked where we were going?
Why do you go into a restaurant?
We replied to have coffee and she once again rudely said that they were busy right now. The restaurant was
empty. It was around 1415. We left.

We especially booked a table to get there for happy hour- which is advertised as a free kids meals free with every adult meal. We even checked this with the waitress when we arrived, however when it was time to pay we were charged for the kids meals. We questioned this after and were told the special is no longer on, even though it is still being advertised. The food was overpriced, it was OK to good, the lamb was tasty but overcooked, the kids fish n chips only had 1 tiny piece of fish. The service only ok - when we arrived at 5.20pm, there was only 1 other group in the restaurant and after waiting 5 mins to be seated, we eventually found our own table and then got told off! There were no pizzas, as advertised.

Pork was sooo tender
Chicken was done to perfection

Even the garlic bread was so crunchy
And the service super friendly

The staff is very friendly and helpful foods also very tasty and well presented! Very calm and family oriented atmosphere!

Had lunch while our stay at Philip Islands and it was our last resort as it was around 4.00pm and almost all the places were closed for lunch.
The food were YUM and the service was great. Will visit again.

Down visiting family on the island and wanted to try out the restaurant. We rang late afternoon to book a table for 4 and despite the restaurant being nearly at capacity they kindly swapped a few things around to get us in that night.

It was a very cold night but the fireplace made it inviting, warm & cozy.
Friendly and happy staff provided great service.
From their cocktails to their meals everything was perfect!
Arancini balls were flavoursome and the calamari were fresh & melted in your mouth.
Both steaks were cooked to perfection as per guests requests.
Only side note was the menu listed on their website isn’t the exact current menu (was looking out for the chicken bao).
We were very impressed with all the meals & will definitely be back.

Just a cafe bistro within the Ramada resort. Small bistro meals and snacks with a bar and coffee.the food we got was good.and it is very convenient if you are staying there. Have a drink around the fire or play trivia on a Tuesday night

Met a friend for a quick meal. The food was nicely prepared and very yummy. I had the arancini & seared broccoli as a side. I ordered a soda lime & bitters with no ice. The drink didn't come. They weren't busy and there were three or four Staff on. Half way through the meal I asked a Staff member to come over and someone indicated they wouldn't be long. No-one came. Near the end of the meal I tried again to no avail. After finishing my meal I got up and went to the desk and told them I had finished eating and still had no drink despite my attempts. I asked the young woman serving me whether she remembered what I'd ordered. She said yes. Finally, half an hour after ordering it, I received my drink - with ice (which I had not ordered). It was disappointing and I said that I shouldn't have to pay for it.and they didn't charge me. I don't know what was going on as they seemed on track making drinks for other patrons.and my friend had hers during the meal.

It was our Silver Wedding Anniversary so we had a couple of nights at Ramada Phillip Island and had a wonderful restaurant experience at Flametrees. We were firstly welcomed at the door by the Nepalese staff member who stayed back so she could greet us on this special night. We were then welcomed by the restaurant staff who had put a vase of native flowers only on our table. We were given complimentary red wine which was really good. The meal of an entree of calamari followed by butter chicken for me and the curry for my Husband. The meal was delicious. Honestly, the service was outstanding and the staff made our night very special.

The food and service were good, however the atmosphere and decor are a bit boring. While the quality of the food is good, it is a little pricy for what you get.

Kinda waited too long to be served while they were pretty free and waiters were just walking around and talking amongst themselves, after they told me to wait a minute for the menu, i left after waiting 20 mins to be served:)

Good and nice food on the menu. Warning seats may be limited and occasionally orders may be despatched not in the order in which it was purchased.

Notwithstanding, would commend the staff for their handling of unexpected issues which may arise.

Not recommended. The food was very hotel standard and bagged salads. Cheap chicken satay skewers were drowned in peanut sauce to hide the cheap meat, scallops not fresh and the cauliflower salad had 5 small chunks of pickled cauliflower, depressing indeed. Nice service.

I was very dubious when they didn't replace the "butter knife" with a regular steak knife. But as I cut into the eye fillet I was amazed. My medium rare steak was succulent, juicy and unbelievably tender! And so we sat in rapturous silence for the next few moments.

The softly cracking fire next to my elbow complemented the view of the pool and meal. It was simply perfect.

My rating is 0 for the terrible experience we had. I called on Monday morning to book for my son’s birthday and our wedding anniversary for Wednesday evening but didn’t receive a confirmation sms, so I called again Tue morning (lucky I did as the booking was not made), I was able to make a booking this time. Our dinner was for 5pm but without calling me first the sms confirmation changed to 4: 30pm. I called again to confirm for 5pm. Then on Wednesday afternoon, 2 hrs before our dinner, a lady calls to try change or cancel our booking so they can accommodate a larger group. It was very late to make alternative arrangements and we didn’t want to rush for our special occasion, we had bought cakes etc already. We were very lucky to book a last minute spot with Salt Water where we had a fantastic time and received excellent service from very helpful staff. In contrast, the type of conduct from Flametree is completely unprofessional and caused unnecessary frustration.

Pork ribs were tender, flavourful and not too sweet. Very nice. Food came quickly and chips were done just right. The cheeseburger was very good too. Will be back!

Limited menu for Thursday night dinner, but well served by friendly staff. Reasonable drinks menu.
Sadly, we had to sit outside under a heater that was far to close to the table for comfort. An adequate meal that was far better than cooking in the cabin, but not a destination dining experience.

Dinner for 5 guests, had the meat plater for 2, think i could say it was one of my best meals ever.cooked perfectly. Must try
