Flake on Lurline

Awful service. $80 order was missing 3 items. They told us it was because there were too many things on the order. Then hung up.
And the food we got was dry and unpleasant. Most went in the bin.

Received a very soggy piece of flake along with a medium chips that can only be described as burnt to a chrisp! I was able to salvage about 20 chips for the kids and threw the rest out. Won't be returning which is a shame

Used to serve golden potato cakes and fried flake but the last order must have been cooked in old oil.
Greasy and very dark brown batter.
Neither enjoyable to look at or to eat.
Each bite tasted oily and left fingers and plates smeared with oil.
What has happened to the high quality they used to serve.
Sorry but there are now better places to get fish and chips.

This use to be our go to fish and chips when we lived that side of town. Went here tonight and it was disgusting. Everything was burnt, and way too oily.

Exactly how fish and chips used to be growing up amazing store my new regular now flake was amazing dimsims good chips good happy all round.

Well I ordered from here tonight, well my grilled fish smelt and tasted like some sort of dishwashing liquid, our food was over cooked.

Used to be a real great place but the last few times I've eaten from here, I'm not impressed and tonight really put me off.

Not bad but sometimes not good, tomatoes were a bit slushy they need to be always fresh, also the frying oil needs changing over. When on top of their game the food is amazing

Fish & Chip shops I’ve ever been too.

The two guys running the shop are easy to talk to and happy to have a chat while your waiting for your tucker.

Best fish and chips ive ever had! Everytime i go im never dissapointed in the quality. Cant beat this fabulous food. The potato cakes and chips are my absolute favourite. Love this fish and chip shop, and would highly recommend flake on lurline.

Ordered Flake & 3 scallops tonight through DoorDash, scallops had no batter on the top and when i lifted them up all the batter stuck to the box and the flake looked ok but after lifting it up all the batter was stuck to the box aswell!
For whatever reason unlike all other fish and chip shops they don’t line the box with the non stick paper!
This is the second time this has happened but the first time I thought it was just a one off but obviously not so wont be ordering or recommending them again.

Greazy layer of fat left on tongue couldn't eat this overpriced ancient example of a fish n chip shop.change the oil please

I recently tried flake on lurlines fish and chips and ordered a souvlaki and chips. This fish and chip shop was one of the best fish and chip shops I've come across in a long time. I will definitely be coming back for another souvlaki. Great service and great food.

Its a good old fish and chip shop, like the good old days, unfortunately just not sure if its value for money any more, but now and then can't hurt.

Massive Souvalki, the vegetarian was a surprise! Was expecting falafel, got frued egg, fried onion and cheese with traditional toppings, was really good.

Terrible owner, very rude to his customers.
Burnt food.
They would not fix the order so don't believe his response.

Our local go-to fish n chippery. Great product, fast, good range including great souvas and steak burgers. Love them.

I ordered Barramundi and it was cooked very nicely. The staff was good with there service but unfortunately a little dry on dealing with there customer (me).

Best fish and chips in Cranbourne.
