Five Grains Asian Kitchen reviews
29Over several orders, we have never had even the slightest of a bad experience. We've tried several dishes and they're all spot on. The homemade Dim Sims and Sesame Prawn Toast are of a solid portion and delicious. The Crispy Skin Pork, Honey Pepper Beef, Salt and Pepper Chicken Ribs, Singapore Noodles and Chicken Satay Fried Noodles have been mouthwatering delicious. On the Uber Eats app the Special Fried Rice is rated as number 1 for good reasons. Five Gains is our go to special treat restaurant. During peak times car parking can be a challenge.
Tried their takeaway tonight. Food was tasty, and ready in ten minutes used. Will use them again.
Ordered plain rice, honey chicken and pork dumplings on uber.
Cannot fault anything it was perfect! Thank you:)
Can’t go wrong. The hor fun is good, mix meat platter is a good for sharing although I thought the portion was small. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Overall a 6.5/10.
Maybe the guy in the kitchen mother dead. The most bad service I think. And the food is so smelly. Don’t come.
This was our first visit to Five Grains and the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the cost reasonable. We will be back!
A little apprehensive ordering for the first time but it didn’t disappoint. All dishes were extremely tasty and I’d definitely order from them again.
We had dinner on wed night, ordered wat dan hor, salted fish and chicken fried rice, salt and pepper calamari, hainanese chicken rice, spare ribs in peking style sauce and roast combo, nice food and lots of (wok hei), generous serving and good service
Good work guys and surely will come back
Went in for a quick lunch and was really unexpected that it was great affordable food, serves quickly and everything we had was delicious. Large serves so make sure you're hungry. We had swee'n'sour chicken, roast duck with noodles and wonton soup.
We came here for dining in, I ordered seafood crispy noodle and my partner ordered dry noodle with roast pork and duck. Sadly my food was extremely salty as they seem like might have put 10 full spoons of salt in the gravy or the sauce! Really disappointing as I like the texture of their crispy noodle, the service from that young lady was good but the extra salt was so unnecessary!
Sorted out our hot and sour soup cravings. Really clean and fast, would definitely return to try more of the menu.
I really liked their vegetarian options. The soup was great and the stir fried veggies were delicious. My bf really liked the prawn dumplings. The kitchen staff members are so lovely and the girls at the cashier are very friendly. It was great to be there on CNY eve. I will definitely go back! ️️️️ So glad that we tried this place!
The time we spent at the restaurant was a truly remarkable experience. The restaurant met all sanitary requirements, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was priced reasonably. The food was extremely tasty and made us keep on going for seconds. It was a pleasant experience and the staff were so prompt, attentive and very welcoming. Even though we passed through the area we would certainly visit again.
Such a great place! Service was fantastic and the food was so delicious. We started with perfect Peking duck and pan fried pork dumplings. Yum! Duck was perfect, soft and fluffy pancakes. The dumplings, so good!
For mains, we enjoyed special fried rice, satay chicken noodles and salt and pepper calamari. I really can't fault the food. We left happy and satisfied!
My only recommendation is to have music playing in the restaurant for some more atmosphere. Everything else, spot on! We'll be back.
The best Asian Fusion restaurant. Fantastic catering to allergies and great service! Food is delish
Worst food I have ever had, Asian food usually very tastier, my favourite cuisine. Two mouthfuls of the food and I and my partner could not eat anymore. The staff did not even ask why two full plates were left. A great even good restaurant would. Coles dinners had more flavour and way cheaper
Love the chinese dishes here, plus you can get takeaway roast pork and other things to add to your meals at home.
Clean, covid safe, Staff spot on, Food delicious - very plain but need of nothing.
Right up there 100pc.
Thankyou enjoyed immensely.
Warrandyte Customer.

Auntie Kim does the best salt and pepper tofu, fried rice and duck in Melbourne! We go there religiously, almost 2-3 times a week, just to get our fill of those tasty dishes.
Lunch specials are the best if you live/work around the corner. Generous filling and food is always fresh and piping hot.
Auntie Kim and her family are always serving people with a big smile.
Cantonese-Malaysian flavour, yummy and reasonable price in Essendon. Recommend egg-noodle with wonton & BBQ pork, Sui Mai is good too.
