32 Nick, Tonia and Michael are all amazing trainers who really listen to your individual fitness goals and strive to help you achieve them. I kick started my fitness regime by attending one of Fitness Ring's 6 Week Challenges. Through perseverance, meal planning and consistently attending training I lost 8kg by the end of the 6 weeks!

Came along feeling insecure being a complete beginner and was greeted with smiles and encouragement and now have courage to return. Whole crew super friendly. This is not your typical gym. Love it.

Such lovely owners Nick and Tonia, they make you feel welcome, and it's OK to be a total fitness beginner. Just show up and that's the best thing you can do. Not to mention being offered espresso shots for our 9am abs class to get us going.
I'm loving the morning bootcamp sessions down at Fitness Ring. The team have been really supportive and the regular crew that come along are friendly and welcoming. Nick and Michael provide a great environment that is challenging without being impossible. They take care to understand your limits and check in with you or modify the excercise to suit. I've gone from being unable to finish a 45-minute session to now coming along three mornings a week, plus adding in strength and then the horrendous-in-a-good-way ab work out.
The gym itself is fresh and clean which is great - no lingering weird smells.
My teen daughter also does the Youth Box sessions on Wednesday which are highly recommended.
At long last I have found a space where I look forward to training! Nick and Michael create challenging classes which are a great mix of strength and cardio. The classes are small and attended by a mix of people at different ability levels (so you always feel comfortable). If you really want a challenge try a PT class.
If you have any doubts about where to start or improve your boxing/fitness journey let this be your sign to join Fitness Ring. By far one of the best boxing studio's out there. I was more than impressed by the service and quality training that Nick and Tonia provided!
Love the team at Fitness Ring! Started with group classes at the beginning of the year and enjoyed them so much I went all in on the 12-Week Transformation Challenge.
Tonia is great at expectation setting, understanding what you want to get out of the program and where you're at with your fitness and eating - before working with you to set goals and milestones. The changes Tonia suggested were progressive and all sustainable, so at the end of the program it was easy to keep going.
Trainers Nick and Michael are excellent for group classes and PT. They keep things fun and upbeat, but challenging with a lot of variety. There is a good mix of ages, fitness levels and abilities - making it a really comfortable environment. It easy to keep coming.
Part of what makes Fitness Ring so good is the team are just as invested in the outcomes as you, and celebrate the small victories on the way!
Professional boxing coach is highly skilled and an amazing trainer.all the staff are also great and very friendly. Fitness Ring is very easily among the best boxing gyms in Melbourne!
Nick really assisted with maintaining my fitness levels during lock down. It was terrific to do stretch and core work at home via Zoom. The class was fun and I can feel the benefits of improved strength and flexibility. Thank you Nick and Tonia! Ruth Hargrave
I started my boxing journey at Fitness Ring roughly a year and a half ago and I could not have asked for a better experience. Nick and Tonia welcomed me into the community with open arms and I felt like part of the community. Nick is a fantastic and experienced coach and is always motivating me with a smile. A great place for people at any skill level!
If I could give Fitness Ring 6 out of 5 stars I would! Nick and Tonia have built a community where everyone is welcome and treated like family. Nick's enthusiasm, motivation and happy face is infectious to all who train with him.
We have just started at this facility and we could not be happier. Coming out of covid we wanted a different training experience than the gym. My husband and i are in our 50s so finding something to suit can be bit more difficult.after talking toTonia we could not be happier. Couple of pt training with nick to learn the ropes and then straight into classes. We work hard and love the sessions and the trainers. Thanks guys. Bring on 2021 and more classes. This is by far the best gym and fitness community I have experienced. Tonia, Nick and Irene are fantastic and incredibly motivating and encouraging. I would not have made it through COVID19 lockdown without Fitness Ring and their virtual classes. Being back in the ring for the last few weeks has been fantastic!
Great atmosphere here. Had my first class today and I'm looking forward to going back for my second class tomorrow. Nick and Tonia couldn't be more warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this gym.
The best boxing gym I've ever come across, the owners are fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. Can't wait to attend more sessions. Stoked that this is my local workout place now!
One of the best things I've ever done was walking through the doors to FR nearly a year ago. After years of going to the gym and slowly losing motivation with that, I found myself looking at alternatives to keeping fit and training in a new environment.
The team at FR led by Nick, Tonia and Blake are all amazing and super inspiring trainers each with their own style of approach to a class, with a range of classes on offer including Boxing Bootcamp, Kickboxing, HIIT, Core, Yoga and Strength/Conditioning. No two classes are really ever the same and time always seems to fly during the classes as you are having a lot of fun suffering from the workout!
I cannot recommend them highly enough to all ages/types of people looking for something different if it is to learn boxing or to keep up your general fitness, I personally have myself committed to going now to nearly 9 classes a week on average and sometimes feel it still isn't enough as it is never a chore coming here.

The best team work here! I used the location for a photoshoot and Tonia was so helpful, easy going, funny and great to work with. I highly recommend this space and Tonia if you are looking for a cool fitness space to shoot in. They were so accommodating, nothing was too much to ask and they kept us laughing the whole time too. The best in Melbs!
Fantastic boxing gym that offers much more than boxing: core classes, HIIT and more. Very friendly environment. Top notch trainers and down to earth, friendly clients. Highly recommended.
