Highly recommended! Super delicious! Incredibly delicious! The food is fresh and clean, and the fried fish batter is unparalleled. It is thin but very crispy. Your mouth is not greasy at all after eating. The guilt is infinitely reduced and the happiness is doubled. The fries have the oily aroma of fried food and are not greasy at all. The soul of the old-fashioned fish and chips is tightly grasped! The best fish and chips in Ballarat!

Order for 2: 2 Flake, 3 Calamari, 3 Potato Cakes and chips. Hands down the best F&C I’ve had here in Ballarat. Batter is light, very crispy. Fish/Calamari/ Potato Cakes all great quality and no short cuts. Chicken salt chips Thank you and don’t go a changin’!

Flake was a bit small for the price but the most freshest flake I’ve ever tasted and have noticed that they’ll give u a lot more chips if u don’t order anything else other than that definitely recommend

A classic Aussie fish and chip shop. Slightly run down from the outside but pumps out some fantastic fish and chips. Was very happy with our meal, such a reasonable price too. Would recommend taking some of these delicious fish and chips down to the lake of a summer's evening. Perfect!

If I could leave a minus star rating I would.ordering 2 larger chips cheese and gravy. Both meals were not cooked through with what appeared to be maybe a drizzle if that of runny Brown water they call gravy. No apparent cheese at all.not impressed. Tried contacting shop with an absolute rude response.never coming back.

One of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Had blue grenadier, butterfish, prawn and scallop. Would recommend. They have couple tables outside if you want to dine in

Found this gem while we were on holiday in Ballarat during Easter. Great crispy tasty fish n chips, light batter and the family feast enjoyed by all. Battered savs were a winner! So good we visited twice. Highly recommend.

Just found this place when my previous fish and chip place went down hill. Fishery Chick has the best fish and chips for the area.always on time straight from the fryer when you walk in no waiting around for your order to go soggy.always friendly staff.my new go to place.

Friendly people and the food is always great. If you smile and serve up delicious food, you’ve got my vote. Prices are pretty good also for fish and chip packs. A family fish pack with 4 pieces of butterfish and a huge chips is about $22.50.
