Fishbowl reviews
22 Slow as a wet week, absolute chaos ordering.go elsewhere. Not wheelchair friendly due to buildup of confused/waiting customers. Don't take cash & kinda rude about it -It's legal tender. Broken chairs and buildup of previous customers mess in dining area.
Bowls actually taste ok, fresh albeit a bit basic, but protein portions are pretty stingy.overall not worth the hassle
It's a salad bar, not fight club
I genuinely give up. No matter which FB it is I always receive incompetent service. Today they put my order through as a regular bowl instead of large. I realised I had been charged incorrectly and queried my order but instead of charging me the difference they allegedly refunded and recharged me. I am not confident I will see the refund as they didn’t tap my card for the refund and it doesn’t seem right to me that you can process a refund without putting it on the card. Nor do they have a phone number for me to call them now that I have come to that realisation
The food is amazing! Have a great range.
Don't go around noon, go after 1pm. Otherwise the wait is about 20mnts!
I've tried the spicy salmon bowl (cooked/warm $19.9) and the og salmon bowl (raw/cold $15.9) and I feel like the spicy salmon bowl is tastier and you get about 5 times more fish. Both bowls provided a lot of different textures and the ingredients were fresh.
Probably the best take away salad in town. It's a bit pricey though, and you probably won't find a seat.
Great food and exceptional service. Always love coming here when I'm at the office. The staff really manage that lunch rush well! Haha. Great work guys. Food is always delicious.

REVIEW:
I'm such a fan. It's the best work lunch option in the Docklands area and they're pretty consistent with the quality.
They've recently switched to NZ salmon and you can taste the difference. Sweeter, fresher, more red, it's more deliciousness packed into your bowl.
With a large variety of options and the choice to choose your own bowl, there's something for everyone. I've gotten my new team onto this, and we do bulk orders for 6 people at a time. When you make an account they also give you discounts once you hit the required numbers of orders!
My advice:
- If you're going to get to Fishbowl before 12pm, you can order at the store.
If you're getting there between 12pm-1pm, I would pre order through their website and pick it up before 12. Pre-order is the best way to go! I've had no issues with picking up my order on time.
- They don't offer removals on the pre-order form. You can put it in the 'notes' section and hope they read it - but it's a bit of a hit and miss.
- Salmon is my favourite line from them. In particular, the Spicy Salmon has my heart if you're fond of spiciness and texture.
Fishbowl has my heart and soul. I literally get cravings for it, if I haven't had it in a while .
Not my scene. Food was not to my taste and the overly loud pounding dance music made it hard to talk to a mate. Dont see the attraction
Wonderful food and great service. The place was packed for lunch. Food was delicious, I had spicy salmon. Will visit again. Better to order online rather than wait there to collect your food as they get very busy during the lunch time.
Used to be great but has gone downhill. Prices have gone up (fair enough, inflation has hit), but protein portions are smaller now and I’ve had multiple orders missing tobiko
Food itself is great! But this location tends to get way too busy on weekdays for lunch.
We ordered ahead online, and still somehow had to wait 45mins after the expected pickup time, while being informed perhaps up to 4 times that an ingredient had run out, so we needed to swap…
Fishbowl's food is always consistently fresh and flavourful, my favourite is the spicy salmon.
This is quite an experience! The process in place work very well, food gets ready every few seconds. Despite large number of people queuing up, the wait time is only few minutes.
And the food is quite tasty! Hoofing recommended for quick lunch.
I tried the OG bowl and tbh I was expecting same old poke bowl. I was pleasantly surprised on how fresh the food was.
Place is also very clean and bright.
Food is amazing with great staff but try to order lunch and your hour is gone. Ordering online is not any better as they are always 20mins after that.
There needs to be more lunch options like Fishbowl! Reasonably priced, healthy, decent servings - and most importantly, delicious and creative combinations! Fishbowl is the best lunch option in the Docklands area for workers, for sure. Please come to the South East suburbs!
Have ordered from here many times. Tom yum chicken in particular is a stand out in terms of flavour. Have also tried salmon options, cooked and raw (latter by mistake) – fish was fresh every time. FOH service very friendly, although given how busy the place gets midday, things can get out of control – first time I visited I had my order stolen by another person. Staff kind enough though to put multiple stamps on my loyalty card.
A lot of food for a good price. Well balanced flavours and never a dull spoonful (chopstickful?)
Even when the line looks long it moves quickly. I highly recommend the order online service
This was my first ever lunch in CBD, was tasty, fresh, and the quantity was much more than what I consume, hence ended up packing half of it back home for dinner! Chicken salad with rice was what I ate!
As the fishbowl is always my favourite brand when thinking about freshness and healthy food, it is supposed have the same standard for franchise business. The one that I have tried in Collingwood was so nice. The ingredients are very fresh with big portions. On the other hand, I was disappointed to the one in Docklands, as sushi rice was being undercooked. However, the service was good and quick during lunch time.
