Firebird School of Music

Always a fun experience and I look forward to drum lessons every week. Sean's an absolute lad!

My family and I have been coming here for guitar lessons with Max and, more recently, singing lessons with Roxanne. Both are great and I'd highly recommend the school.

Max is a skilled guitarist with a fantastic ability to impart information at a level that suits both my 10yo son and I. I’d been teaching my son at home for a few years before we started at Firebird, but the lessons with Max have accelerated our progress and they’re a highlight of our week.

Roxanne has been working hard to increase the confidence and ability of my wife and I in our alternating singing lessons. Roxanne is kind and encouraging, but also provides direct feedback and stretches us. In a few lessons I’ve moved from being afraid to sing to singing every day and it’s great to hear my wife singing around the house.

The interactions that I’ve had with other staff are all positive too – Tom and Archie are often working on reception when I’m in and are always friendly, as is Fiona who does a fantastic job of running the school.

The premises are always clean and tidy and there’s always good quality equipment to use too. Great people & great place.

Pretty much the greatest place on the planet. Every teacher there is excellent and has a person-centered style of teaching music. I've tried to learn guitar maybe 6 times in my life and this is the first time I have been consistent and stuck to it, I would attribute it to my teacher, Max, who makes lessons interesting and exciting.

My daughter has drum lessons here & we couldn't be happier. It's a great venue, the staff are very welcoming and are happy to have a quick chat. The spaces in which the musicians teach are clean, light and comfortable to be in and the music equipment is fantastic. I highly recommend Firebird School of Music.
