Fintona Girls' School reviews
14 Surrounded by private schools that sometimes focus more on marketing than teaching, Fintona stands out as an institution of excellence that attracts families with shared values and a strong work ethic. The student cohort is mature, welcoming, kind and caring.
Our daughter came across from a smartphone-friendly competitor school in which students make TikToks during class time, obsess over social media and walk around the campus staring at their phones. We were surprised by how much more developed Fintona students' interpersonal communication and social skills are, partly because mobile phone use is banned during school hours.
Small enough to be friendly, the school offers a surprisingly wide range of extracurricular activities from harp lessons to rowing.
As private schools go, it's the real deal: progressive but steadfast in its established values and priorities.
I am a student at Fintona and all the people here are friendly many learning opportunities as a lover of music I highly recommend this school for people into music or saving the environment. Sometimes it can be stressful at this school although it may not be the best, the Senior campus is definitely the safest time to join.
As a student who was at Fintona for 4 years of her high school years, those 4 years of my time there were awful. If you are a student who needs care about your mental health for the time of your school years, i DO NOT recommend this school.they don’t assist you in any way other than offering counselling and that’s that.yes at this school you can make friends but the amount of toxic students and bullying that occurs there is INSANE.some teachers there were funny and had good teaching techniques in class but majority of the teachers seemed as if they were there just to get their pay check and leave.in fact many teachers made students feel worthless and uncomfortable, both physically and mentally.the school cares more about the colour of your hair, wearing more than one ear piercing, length of dress then about your mental health and education.the schools duty of care to provide a suitable education is not on point.i can go on and on but i choose not to.
Fintona is a caring and lovely community, it is like a big family, students know each other and inspire each other to pursue their interests and talents.
The teachers are always supportive and encourage the students and give them a lot of opportunities.
It’s a lovely school. These’s no perfect school. Fintona is small but your daughter gets more opportunities, doesn’t matter she’s quite or loud.
New science building is a W, but don’t send your child here if they are a prodigy at language analysis cause they dont have english language.but the girls get great results on their GCSEs can’t wait to receive mine
I love this school! The teachers are extremely nice, too! We also get graded at Fintona which can increase awareness of how you learn! Absolutely excellent. 5 stars
Fintona is an AMAZING school with a variety of opportunities which target the interests of the diverse students here! It supports both academic, sports, music, debating etc. Teachers are also very caring and supportive to all students and constantly encourage Fintonians:) Along with this, the girls at Fintona are a welcoming community of students who support their peers! I definitely recommend Fintona to any parents looking for a school to send their girls!
Being a full time mother, my daughter came come everyday crying because these girls bulled her and shes only 5, and she is always asking me question about dying and its not good. Kids should feel good at school not feeling like they don't belong. Not a good school, the girls aren't nice and the teachers don't do anything about my daughters heath, they just care about the money
I would never send my siblings to this school, as a guardian raising my 2 younger sisters, hearing from a friend of mine that went to this school as well telling me that she got bulled for 15 years of her time there and its not worth being there because the education system is not straight forward. I don't recommend coming to this school, don't bring your kids/siblings. The rest I have to share would rather stay in my mouth
If you're looking for a really high quality school, please DO NOT attend to this school, its messy and uncoordinated. NO NOT RECOMMEND
As a student at Fintona, I can definitely say that there is no other school I would rather attend. The quality of care and teaching is excellent. It feels like they really care about you and want to help you with your subjects. They explain everything clearly and only want you to do your best. And, the school is incredibly supportive and understanding. I have created so many memories that I cherish and I can't wait for all the years to come. If you're looking for quality education and an accepting, open-minded and naturing environment, then I'll see you at Fintona.

This is a really good school, the facilities are new and they are very useful, and the students and teachers are really helpful and kind. There is always a lot to learn at this school as well so I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating.
I think Fintona Girls' School is a very nice school. The education rates are really high, the staff are friendly and the students are organised and prompt. This school deserves 5/5 for its amazing high academic standards.
