Finns Reserve

Nice walk after passing the Yarra river on a suspended foot-bridge. Free kangoroos, close to the path, can be found after 1/2 hour walking.

Such a lovely, thoughtful and nice maintained park, the kids play area is so well thought and planned for. The Main Yarra Trail is a good easy walk for people of all ages! There are ample benches for people to rest in between the way as well as the park has well maintained restrooms too!

Overall a great park.
But I noticed that the gate to the playground is damaged and needs repair.

Playground is enclosed in all sides with a fence and a child proof gate, which gives parents some time to relax and just enjoy watching their child play, without having to worry.

Gr8 spot 2 bring the family. The old very old swing bridge. Area's 4 picnics. And play areas 4 little kids. Big kids can get out on there bikes on both sides of the bridge. Early & Late 2 try & catch a glimpse of the "Platypus".
On the north side the bike track connects with Westerfolds Park bike track. Enjoy the Yarra River. It does flow upside down unfortunately.

Kids loved the playground, especially the flying fox. Adults will find the walking tracks pleasant and scenic.

Best place in Melbourne to see a platypus. Awesome adventure playground. River always spectacular.

Very popular for walks beside the river, community events, and the children's playground (Wombat Bend).
Plenty of dog walkers and cyclists take advantage of the walking paths.
The BBQ facilities adjacent to the toilet block are also well utilised.

Found this place looking for a halfway picnic spot. The place is huge. The sound of running water always improves a picnic.

Will certainly come back here. What a wonderful playground for littlies. The place was packed, so parking was scarce.

Beautiful spot by the river. Playground with lots of different equipment to play on and creations to keep the kids happy and entertained.

Beautiful area, but absolutely carpeted in cape weed and other pest plants. Would love to see these weeds better controlled to support the animals that use this area.

Great local park with a fun suspension bridge over the river. Apparently a platypus lives around here - very popular. Next to Wombat Bend playground.

I love Finns Reserve. I run a dog walking company and I have been talking my fur clients walking here for years. I have also found all the other local dog owners super friendly.

Great place by the Yarra. I like to look out for the platypuses and kookaburras on or under the bridge.

Popular with young kids birthday parties, best to turn up early to get a spot. With the yarra river and bike trail near by a beautiful part of Templestowe (but busy!)

Great parkland right along the creek with great paths for walking, jogging or cycling. Wombat Bend playground is awesome. Lots of parking either side.
