Fine Aromas Cafe reviews
26 Good prices at this cute lil cafe in Portarlington. The menus are great! Reused Little golden books - giving the kids something to do while waiting for their waffles (must have these)
The code black coffee beans the cafe uses are delicious too!
Coffee and drinks were good meals were okay nothing special. Not as many gf options as expected
Quaint little cafe a bit further down the main drag of Portarlington but worth the extra steps.
Poached eggs are poached eggs! There are no hard poached eggs! We ordered poached eggs as part of our breakfast and all 3 of us received these hard eggs not runny.
When we asked for them to be replaced with actual poached eggs the response was “oh did you want soft poached eggs”.
Seriously if you are offering both options then ask the client what they would prefer even though poached eggs are traditional runny.
When the meal came back only 2 of us received correctly poached eggs and the bread under the mixed mushrooms and capsicum was so soggy it was quite bad.
My sons meal had so much mustard it was smothered on over everything to the point that you couldn’t even identify what was on the plate. Quite disappointing
Friendly staff, great food at reasonable prices, ambience is charming and excellent place to catch up with friends. Background muzac is soothing and certainly not too loud. Best licensed cafe in Northern Ballarine. In summer many folk get the ferry from Docklands and love spending an hour or so chilling in air conditioned comfort. Go once, you'll go more!
Lovely staff, nice food, great pricey, quirky little place. I love the menus (children's books), great idea!
