There are many things to consider when choosing a photographer, some of them are; will you get high quality electronic images, do you get along with your photographer, will the photographer scout locations, do you get along with your photographer, will they get the shots you want and most importantly will they have the time of day to review and edit all the photos, there could easily be a few thousand photos. Remember you only have that one day to get the photos you want, have a think, and when you are ready, have a chat with Dee. We did and we think you should too. Dee, we can’t thank you enough!

Dee was the photographer at our wedding and she was absolutely THE BEST. She was so amazing, made me and my husband feel so comfortable on the day. Our pictures look incredible - she has an eye for finding those places and moments that seem 'ordinary' and making them look incredible on camera. We received so many compliments not only about the pictures but about Dee's work style. We are so happy we found her and booked her for our special day.

If I could give six stars, I would. Dee did an incredible job of capturing our wedding and reception, and we couldn't be more happy with the results.

We chose Dee based on the style of the photos we'd seen from her online: natural, amazing use of natural lighting, and a great eye for beautiful framing. We absolutely got all of these things in our photos. The way Dee finds the right angle, captures the right moments, and does it all in a way that looks incredible without any over-the-top editing is nothing short of spectacular.

From the first meeting, Dee was warm and friendly, yet in control of everything. She has a clear process for getting to know the couple, setting creative direction for the shots, and does just the right amount of pre-work to set up for a seamless on-the-day experience. Ahead of the big day, Dee spent an afternoon scouting out locations for our couple shots to get just the right backgrounds and settings for the aesthetic we were after. On top of all this, we were very comforted by Dee having covered other same-sex weddings, and in addition to this her statements of inclusion on her website made us feel very much at ease knowing we were in understanding hands.

Our guests commented on how lovely and professional Dee was, striking just the right balance of capturing group shots, while also not being pushy or commanding. It was important to us that we were able to enjoy all the moments throughout our day, and Dee's manner and approach ensured we never felt like we needed to be "in work-mode".

I'd highly recommend Bonavita photography to anyone who is looking for
a friendly, professional and extremely organised photographer who captures natural shots, using light and shadow to their full advantage, resulting in some incredible images. The LGBTI+ community are in very safe hands with Dee.

Dee is absolutely amazing! Felt like she was part of the family for the day. She is professional and so easy to get along with. The whole process of planning was made easy and stress free and always answered any questions we had. Then we received our photos.incredibly beautiful! We couldn't even choose our favourites.there was just too many. We wanted a photographer for our wedding who was calm, professional and took relaxed non posey photos and we more than got what we wanted. We had such an incredible day and Dee made it even more fun.
