Fieste Family Restaurant Tullamarine reviews
63Food is horrible, ordered medium rare steak came well done, dry and chips were cold. Pasta was dry and the Coke was a watered down version of cheap cola. Would not recommend oh and apparently the meat is really popular
Staff amazing and caring and attentive. Place looks great. Owner was there, remembered me from previous visits. I daunt been there for a long time so it was wonderful to receive the recognition. Great prices great food.
2nd time dining here. First time was ok but this time will be the last. Ordered carbonara which was alright, decent serve, we got the garlic bread which was over cooked but edible and we got the potato pizza which was served with slices of GREEN potato! Serving green potato (which imo is pretty easy to avoid) just shows an incredible lack of care. Also, the pizza was really wet as you can see by how wet the wooden board is
The best. So nice and friendly. I only had coffee and some zucchini chips. Simply the best. Had a nice banter with the owner too. Will definitely go back when I next go to the airport.
Food was ok when we went, service was pushy and as others have mentioned, be sure to check your bill. It feels like he just charges what he wants. We got a pizza, one pasta and 2 soft drinks for $100 - anywhere else it would be in the $60-$80 range for this type of restaurant and food. Owner needs a reality check.
The employees are friendly and kind, however the food isn’t that great. It was overly salty and my chips weren’t cooked fully, as well as my pasta. The wait was over an hour, and to be honest the food wasn’t really worth it. But once again, the workers were kind and welcoming.
The food is way too salty i felt like i was getting high cholesterol as I ate it. Took more than an hour to receive our food and it wasn’t even good. Chips weren’t even cooked and were drenched in salt.
Pure utter rubbish.restaurant was dead 1 hour to ask for mains and than the food was beyond words disgusting.no taste lack of ingredients two different types of pastas in the one dish.staff was on phones too busy watching the tv.don't waste your time or money
Great local place for your traditional pizza and pasta. Friendly and helpful staff, haven’t had a bad experience here yet and have been coming here for years.
Fieste would have to be the best dine in traditional Italian restaurant in the area.
Roberto provides a true Italian experience, full of passion and dedication with a primary focus on quality and service.
All the staff share this passion, they certainly make you feel welcome and "part of the family" at every visit.
They're not just order takers, they're people who care about giving you the best service with a smile.
With over 20 years in the restaurant game, they've got to be doing something right.
The food is exceptional, packed full of flavour and freshness with a generous and filling portion size.
There's plenty of delicious options to choose from Pizza, Pasta, Steak & one of my favourites, Camembert Chicken.
Top off the evening with a true Italian coffee coupled with a sweet sticky date pudding, you'll be leaving and looking forward to your next visit.
Whether you've been here before or looking for something new, don't pass up your opportunity to enjoy a quality meal with family, friends or even just yourself, Fieste has something for everyone and is well worth a look.
Enjoy
Really dislike the owners arrogance along with just bland food. 2008 called, they want their menu back.
Order pizza, lhave been going there for a long time, pizza orderd American minimal topping lthink in the large pizza on 4 picie of salami, not worth it, going down hill
Stopped in for a random family night and had a good time the ribeye steak was absolutely amazing il be coming back that’s for sure loved it.
Do not recommend. Total rip off. Went there for a wine and some entrees and asked for some tap water for the table.
Was shocked at the bill and when I saw the receipt, he'd put almost everything under something more expensive. Including $6 for bottled water. I'd clearly asked for tap water for my toddler.
Then had the nerve to talk down to me and tell me you'd pay $10 for that water in Brunswick. Rude and sneaky. Even at the right price the food was overpriced with tiny portions.
I'm not going to lie. This place is not bad. I've had worse in other places. The food was average. I had a couple of pizzas with a buddy of mine and a garlic bread. The garlic bread was amazing but the pizzas were just average for what you pay. I think I had 6 pieces of salami on the whole pizza (mexicana). I know prices have gone up but not to the point where you give 6 pieces of salami on a medium pizza. Pretty much 1 piece of salami per slice. Service was great, one of the most friendliest and nicest server I've met. And atmosphere was a it outdated for me. But I get it it's been around for a long time. I might come back to try something else on the menu but a pizza I won't be ordering.
My review is only in respect to take away pizza I bought and not in relation to anything else. Unfortunately the pizza that Fieste are producing is getting worse.
Definitely a restaurant that goes unnoticed for their amazing food and service.
5/5 for everything. Keep up the good work guys!
Went back to basics with a spaghetti bolognese and oh my! Their wagyu beef family recipe was amazing!
Have been eating fieste pizzas for over 10 years but this will definitely be our last time. I ordered 2 pizzas takeaway and once we tried them noticed that both pizzas tasted very doughy and underdone and I called back and stated this to one of the staff.
I receive a call 5 minutes later from the owner Roberto who starts stating that I should have asked for the pizzas 'well done' and that we haven't had any issues with our pizzas.
We went back to the shop to see if they would organise a replacement and my father was met with the owner rudely stating that there was nothing wrong with the pizza and that it's not their responsibility when it leaves the shop. The owner Roberto also had the audacity to text me stating the pizza was a '36 hour soughdough' and claiming my father showed him 'no respect'. All this over $20 of pizza!
We showed up unexpectedly with a large group mainly kids, as we had dance competitions down the road and decided to go for dinner last minute as we finished early, We didn't have a booking for dinner on Sunday, The owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The poor guy was on his own and he managed to feed us all. Thank you for your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Pizza was yummy!
We will return.
