Feu Bar Mornington reviews
47 We ordered via Menulog and when we received our food it was stone cold and inedible.
Phoned the restaurant who informed me it wasn’t their problem as we ordered via the app.
My one star is due to their poor customer service, if they choose to deliver food via an app they still need to honour the quality. Very disappointing.
We got take away tonight for pick up. We normally like to dine in as we know this type of food is best eaten immediately. Great guidance from Alex at the restaurant as to what food travels best. The Noodle Salad certainly travels well hit the spot for us. I just read the previous post. Dee, I recommend not using door dash or those services. There is nothing better than dining in or picking the food up by one's self. From past experience the delivery services (like door dash and uber eats) pick up several orders from various venues and then deliver in order of their convenience; so by the time you get your food it is nothing like it was at time of service. I now only pick up from the restaurant myself. That way I am assured of the food quality and know one third of the cost is not going to some overseas conglomerate. Wishing the world better dining outcomes, Stuart
Delicious, fresh and tasty! Highly recommend the crab san chou bow and the spicy beef noodle soup. Staff were lovely as well
Superb! All of the food we ordered are delcious! I wish we live nearby! Will definitely come back when we are in tthe town.
Omg, my favourite Vietnamese in Mornington and maybe on the peninsula! Such a lovely restaurant environment and just the most Devine food! Thank u feu bar
Ordered rare wagu beef with salad. Got cooked chewy beef. Awful. Sent this back and Ordered salt and pepper squid. This too was tastless and cut into corners served with a few leaves. Won't be back.
Would not recommend this place at all. I found an ear cotton bud in my noodles. I was disgusted and horrified. The staff were inexperienced. There was no apologies or explanation and I was just offered a “no charge” for the meal but they still charged me for my drink and still charged my friend fir her meal. When I had to use the bathroom I could see the state of the kitchen. It was absolutely filthy. I’m not sure how they’ve past an inspection. I’m guessing that leftovers are reused for new orders. I’ve never put in a bad review for anyone and if they had of handled this situation differently I would not have put one in and just not returned or recommend the place to anyone. Very disappointing.
Totally amazing.
Great food and wonderful service.
Would have liked to have stay for more but had to run. We will be back. Thank you, keep up the great work
OMG! This place really surprised me. The taste, the freshness of the products and the generous portions! We had banh mi, noodle salad and spicy pho. Definitely will come again!
We had 2 rare beef pho and 1 Bahn mi pork belly. Pity there wasn't a chicken and beef combo pho, but the rate beef pho was nice. They use real chillis in both, so be aware if chillis aren't your thing. The decor and ambience is relaxed fusion of modern and traditional Vietnamese with one wall decorated with window shutters. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean washroom facilities.
I ordered crab San Choi bau. Terrible. Dried up rancid not Tasting of anything but rancid oil. Laying in a bed of sludge. That was once mixed salad leaves with some coriander leaves on top.
Always friendly staff - yummy food, margaritas and excellent value for money.
Great for a quick meal or small group catchup.
Vietnamese food, great food and presentation.
Licenced and BYO
indoors and pavement dining
We ordered 2x Main & 1x Entree.
KFC chicken for entree was over fried & dry, although generous portion.
Both mains - rice bowl, the Sticky Pork was very overcooked & dry.
Both Mains had minimal ingredients/Small.
Total $ Approx $70 for bad take away
Yummy. Tender beef ribs with Vietnamese touch. Could have more herbs with pho but well be back!
Saw the great reviews and were excited to try Feu Bar. We ordered 2 Fried Chicken Bao's and 1 Pulled Pork Bao. They were so disappointing - bland and felt like we could have easily made them ourselves (probably made better). Not to mention the service was horrible. We were rushed, never asked how our meal was, and the staff seemed like they were all irritated and in a bad mood. When we went to pay, the man said nothing, just the amount on the bill. Save to say we will never go there again. The Stumpy Gully Pinot was the highlight.
Quirky little place with loads of interesting things to look at. The pork rolls are quite nice and have a different spin on the your normal ones with extra sauce. The Pho soup was above good and packed some good flavours. The service was very quick and food was served very fast.
What a welcome addition to the ‘ninch! Super tasty authentic pho, friendly service & they remembered our order after just 2 visits. Delighted we don’t have to dine to Frankston anymore for our favorite meal.
One of the best restaurants I have been to in the Peninsula. Customer service is excellent and food is superb! Will definitely come again
The food was absolutely amazing especially the beef noodle salad. Love the vibe and the service was as beautiful as the food, thank you feu bar.
