Fetching Treasures - Cafe reviews
25Wonderful old world atmosphere being surrounded by beautiful antiques. Food was lovely and fresh.
Lovely little Cafe which felt like walking into someone's home.
Lunch menu was varied and full of hearty choices.
So
Scones were fresh out the oven.
Delicious breakfast! Best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a long time! Enjoyed looking at the antiques. Lovely and very prompt service
If you are visiting Heathcote, this is the place to eat! Everything was nicely cooked and well presented. Great service and the place in general was quite cute. I recommend the fish cakes and the risotto. Good wine list also.
Ate breakfast on the weekend and highly recommend this small cafe. Filled with memorabilia from days gone by, fantastic atmosphere and the food was simply amazing. Cheesy scrambled eggs were light and fluffy with just the right amount of seasoning and the bacon was crisp and juicy. A cup of tea was ordered and out comes the teapot and strainer as the pot was filled with fresh tea leaves! Don’t go past without visiting and having a meal.
Wonderful Cafe with very delicious Food and delightful Antiques.
The Very Gracious and Friendly Staff/Owners made our time spent there most memorable.
Absolutely best breaky.just perfect.toast, bacon and must be free range eggs.highly recommend.
Winery town, small cafe cozy and classic atmosphere.
Amazingly tasty breakfast, all fresh and hot.
Bacon is crispy and perfect, scrambled eggs and grilled tomato, everything was just right.
The long black was good as well just like the nice food.
Maybe on Thursday at 10 am, breakfast for one customer means a special effort from the chef, thank you, I really enjoyed my time here.
First visit to Heathcote. We had a lovely lunch here. Service was excellent We will definitely return to this cafe. Can't wait to try other things on their menu.
Very unique little place - more of an antique shop than a cafe, but their little courtyard was shady and full of plants and the food was lovely.
Absolutely magic breakfast, coffee, tea lovely English atmosphere will be going again cheers John, Bernice, Sam, Leah, Danny
Very unfriendly service. Came into cafe unbooked, was told we could be seated but it was made clear that it was a big inconvenience to them and were running low on food. We ended up going to a cafe down the road.
Absolutely wonderful!
Delicious food, gorgeous venue and filled with wonderful little antiques and treasures you can buy.
We come here all the way from Melbourne as often as we can.
Definitely worth the drive!
Lovely cafe come antique shop that served home made pea & ham soup, french beer and wonderful quiche salad. Excellent service
We dine here often for a coffee or lunch (and love the curry). Lovely atmosphere and friendly owners.
Lovely atmosphere with a great selection of food options.
Kids were welcomed and food was cooked specifically for their dietary requirements.
We will definitely make this our go to restaurant when in the area.
Beautiful set up, the food sounds delicious unfortunately we had our breakfast late. Will recommend to check out if you love antique
Really cute garden and some nice antiques inside but the service was less than desired. She seemed like we were bothering her by eating there and had better places to be.
Great little place if you're into antiques best homemade breakfast in heathcote missus loves the cheesy scrambled eggs
Loved this place
Like my British family home - full of loads of interesting things, trinkets and rooms full of antiques.
Eclectic and is actually great for children in the back garden. There was a review that it’s not good for kids but I disagree. So many plants and some little paths to explore in the back just hold their hands until you’re there
Solid breakfast - Welsh Rarebit, raisin toast and good coffee. Heaps of bacon for the 6 year old.
Will definitely come again
