Fernwood Women's Gym Clayton

Don’t wasted time to join here. They are hungry money. They will try anyways to keep you with their club with such a big cancellation fees almost $500. While many of the new gyms around free of charge or just a little bit out of pocket.

Bathrooms are really gross. Toilet paper always on the floor, pee on the seats and really smelly. Staff don't seem to be phased by the mess. Gym is really dusty too.
Would be a decent gym if it wasn't so grotty. Really disappointing.

I wanted to share my thoughts on how much I enjoy going to Fernwood Clayton. I really love how the gym is set up and the quality of the equipment is top tier.

I also just started doing Hypoxi and from my initial consult with Taylia which was fun and insightful and she really showed her passion to getting to know Kelty (sorry if I misspelt your name), before my sessions. They have both been welcoming and kind and go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and they get my silly humour which is always a bonus:)

Great gym and great investment into your physical and mental wellbeing. Highly recommend!

From the coaches, the equipment, the classes, to the people.
All of it is well worth it and you can't ask for any better.
Everyone is so caring and they all treat everyone like family.

Absolutely love this place! The environment is so welcoming and makes me feel so comfortable! The staff are truly phenomenal as well, they always welcome me with a smile on their face. They have so many classes available which is so helpful as it’s things that I use in my daily workout routine. So happy to be apart of the Fernwood fam as my fitness has improved and grown so much!

I love the supportive atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. I love all the classes, when you work out with a group it helps to stay motivated! Happy customer!

Edit: I was incentivised for the above review and the gym does incentivise with a free class in exchange for a review. At th time I felt good about the gym. When I left the gym I had a difficult experience trying to end my membership. It left a sour taste. The experience was very frustrating and disappointing. Although the gym classes and many trainers were good I would say the management is what lets down this branch of fernwood.

At first I thought fernwood was great however now I feel the complete opposite. All the extra payments they make you pay are absolutely ridiculous. I have not been to fernwood in a year as I have been continuously freezing my membership due to not being able to afford it at this time. $300 to end my contract and on top of that another 2 fortnightly payments is absolutely insane! Why am I paying $300 to end my membership and then 2 extra payments on top of that for no reason. And then when my membership unfreezes I get no notice about it and straight away they try to take money from my account ($61) when they can clearly see I haven’t stepped foot into the gym in a year for a reason. All they care about is money and I am so disappointed. I am wasting money on this when there are other things I need to be able to afford in my life right now. It took me so long just to save up the money to end my contract due to needing it for other expenses which is why I haven’t been able to quit yet!

I used to hate going to the gym because of my anxiety and discomfort towards mixed gender gyms. I'm so happy that Fernwood exist! All the staff I have encountered have been lovely. Going to the gym no longer feels like a difficult chore to me. Also absolutely loving the recent upgrade of all the cardio machines!

My girlfriend has been attending this facility for a few months and has spoke highly of the quality of the gym as well as the atmosphere that the staff uphold. She especially loves Abby Bartha’s pilates classes and has seen great results with her guidance

Recently joined Fernwood Clayton, the staff are lovely and friendly and the women that attend are all so friendly.

Fernwood is a cult. Hidden fees under every rug. No care for both the physical and mental health of their customers. At the end of the day, they just want money in their pockets, not caring about the outcome.

Struggle with parking whenever I came for a gym session. Another issue was privacy if you go behind nandos next door to Fernwood men can easily see through the window at night.

I’ve been at this gym for the past year and never felt so welcomed, encouraged and supported through my fitness journey. Equipment and facilities are exceptional, clean bathrooms and showers, management and staff very friendly. Can not recommend fernwood Clayton highly enough.

No better gym than Fernwood Clayton. Equipment, classes, programs and staff are all exceptional. Clean, friendly and has “the vibe. ” Wouldn’t train anywhere else.

Fernwood is like none of the other gyms I’ve cycled through in my lifetime, this place has a real pumped atmosphere where you go to get things done! I feel comfortable and enthusiastic about completing my workouts here due to the driven and welcoming staff and members here. It is for sure one of the best and most well equipped gyms in melbourne and perfectly attends to the needs of females in providing a safe space to exercise. The front of house staff always great you with a lovely smile and take the time to get to know you personally, rozetta in particular always brings a ray of sunshine into my day. I will never look back after joining this gym and continue to keep this place as my second home.

Hands down, best choice I’ve made joining Fernwood Clayton! VERY friendly team who greet me by my name with a smile every morning. This is a fantastic gym with a great atmosphere! The classes they have are the absolute best! They have recently updated the machines and weights. All the trainers especially Jay are super supportive and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at and pushing you in all the right ways possible! She has helped me do things I never thought I could do! The gym and amenities are always clean and have coffee available all day which is the best! I feel like we are a huge family Fernwood Clayton! I recommend fernwood to everyone all the time!

Absolutely amazing gym, especially had an amazing experience with a sales representative Rozetta. She was so bubbly and helpful and that is what you need representing a company!
