Fernwood Women's Gym Ballarat

After being fat shamed at a previous gym my confidence and self worth was at its lowest but since joining with Fernwood I've found my happy place. The staff, facilities are amazing. Best decision I've made

I highly recommend Fernwood Ballarat. When you first enter you are always greeted by the lovely reception staff with a smile. All the lovely staff are very helpful with anything you need to know. The gym is kept very clean. I love the variety of classes that you can attend at different times. I do have a personal trainer that I go to twice a week, which I love our sessions all the time.

Friendly staff, and lots of fitness programs available to suit the young and older ladies. Safe and happy environment. Staff are very helpful and let you try all programs/ equipment to help you discover what's best for you!

Very clean gym and supportive atmosphere.
I've had two children since I joined and have been supported throughout, including having my payments put on hold for as long as needed between babies. Child minding has been really helpful with returning and the guidance from trained professionals fantastic.
I also love that they have all you need for after a gym session to get ready for the day.

Fernwood Ballarat is my haven. The facilities are amazing and the staff go above & beyond. I am not a natural gym person but the atmosphere of this place together with the beautiful women I share the experience with make each visit a pleasure not a chore. The child minding facility is a wonderful, inexpensive option, and the massage chairs are absolute bliss and such a thoughtful addition by Lee and the team. I simply cannot recommend this place enough.

Loved my time here at Fernwood, the staff and other members are so friendly. The gym and equipment is maintained and well cared for.

Fernwood ballarat is a great gym. Staff are lovely, faciliaties are good. They add a personal touch to your workout.

I have been a member at Fernwood Ballarat now for almost 18months, joining this club was without a doubt the best decision i could of made for myself. The club is beautiful and inviting and has an incredible range of equipment and group fitness classes. Every staff member is welcoming and supportive and nothing is ever to much trouble. The club is so much more then just a gym, it’s a family, they always go above and beyond to set you up for success and genuinely care about your journey. I have found my place, i will always call fernwood home.

I've always been happy to pay a little bit more to have a safe, encouraging and trustworthy staff and environment to exercise in.

I always feel welcome when I go through the doors. The people behind the desk always smile and greet you like an old friend and they really mean it. I would not hesitate to recommend Ballarat Fernwood to any woman who wants to join a gym

I joined Fernwood Ballarat a couple of years ago. I was very overweight, quiet, and really didnt like myself. Over these last 2 years, I have been supported and encouraged by the amazing staff to be my best self. I have lost 40kg, I have more confidence, and I am finding myself again. For anyone who isnt sure, I say come in and give it a go. I am so glad I did, my only regret is that I didnt engage sooner. I have made friends that will last a lifetime, and I have learnt skills that will lengthen my life. Special thanks to Lee, the beautiful owner, who is full of energy and love. You have helped me more than words can say xo

Honestly since joining 7 months ago with the sole goal of dropping unwanted kgs, My whole outlook on health and wellbeing has changed and I owe it all to the fantastic team and members of Fernwood ballarat who are so much more than a gym, they are a wholistic wellbeing centre. Who have helpped me grow in mind body and soul

Professional staff, and a positive and friendly environment for women of all ages and backgrounds. Knowledgeable trainers, fun group classes, exceptional facilities. They celebrate your achievements with you and genuinely want to see you succeed. I have joined the 6 week Shine Challenge and it has been incredible to be able to share the journey with a diverse group of women who encourage, uplift and motivate you to achieve your goals. I'm learning new tools to keep me emotionally strong on my journey. Very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community.

The trainers, staff, & owner, Lee, are all exceptional women who genuinely love what they do. Their passion creates not only a great place to train physically, but emotionally you feel connected to a community that cares for each & every member. They offer a holistic solution to health & wellbeing. I love the huge range of Group Fitness Classes, smaller HIIT style classes, Opt-in Programs which provide Food Coaching Sessions, Empower Sessions & the opportunity to meet other like minded members. The massive array of equipment is second to none. An immaculately kept club that is so much more than a gym. I would recommend Fernwood Ballarat to my family, close friends & any woman who wants to be the best they physically & mentally can be.

I absolutely love Fernwood Ballarat. The staff are amazing, friendly and approachable. They really do go above and beyond for their members, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and safe in the gym environment.

I love this gym! It's clean and has all your basic needs to get ready for work, hair dryer and straighteners, shampoo, soap, conditioner etc.even brekky and coffee. I love the sauna, it's my me quiet alone time (sometimes it's noisy from the gym floor) the workers are always happy and they will treat you well.
It took commitment to become apart of the community, but all relationships need work, you can't just rock up 1 day and expect it to be a big song and dance. Once you have that relationship you'll love coming!
My reason for missing 1 star is because of how expensive the extras are, if the care for helping people getting healthy was really there the challenges would be more affordable. I understand it's a business, there is a bold line between money making and caring. Doing a challenge did get me going to the gym a lot and helped create that community for me.
You could gain this by going to the same classes every week.
Oh and there are classes ALL the time, which is great! 24 access and they're often adding new things and holding info sessions and functions to build morale.

I love the atmosphere, the facilities and all the staff. Very inclusive for a very shy, and very novice customer to a gym

Love this all ladies 24 hour gym.
Staff are extra friendly. Being 24 hours you can go whenever you feel like it.
Change room/ toilets/ showers are always spotless. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. During staffed hours you get the use of make up, hair dryer and straighteners. What an awesome place to work out. Lve Lve Lve ‍️‍️️‍️‍️
