Fernwood Fitness

When I first signed up I was hesitant but liked the fact it was a all girls gym however for the price I am paying the equipment are not up to date and only have a few resources available. For example they only have one leg press 2 stair masters etc & their always taken. It's not ideal to wait over 15 minutes to take turns. Other gyms that charge a quarter of the price provide much more equipment. I then decided to cancel my membership however when I first called I spoke to a lady that was rude and gave me attitude because I wanted to cancel and it seemed that she was annoyed that I had questions to ask (I was extremely polite to her yet still) I was told that I still had to pay for 30 days due to the policy which I did. But really it's way to overpriced for the service and equipment. I would have been more than happy to pay double if the equipment was 10/10 and the service (which it's not). Even the personal training is basic and not as professional as other gyms I've seen and been too especially for the price for only 30 minutes. Personally wouldn't recommend it unless you are desperately wanting a girls gym only & willing to pay a unreasonable amount. I would recommend researching in depth before signing up & looking at other gyms that provide better service for less it's definitely not the case that the price matches the quality. I'm not the only one who's experienced this problem with cancellation so if this is a ongoing problem it's only right the gym takes it upon consideration to improve the service. Controversially when I went in real life another staff member handled it better & was polite when I had questions to ask.

Great facility for ladies. The trainers are welcoming and helpful. Plenty of machines and no wait time to use them. Group fitness classes are intense and fun!

I've been at the gym for almost a year now and the progress in myself has been amazing but this is due to the number of classes they have at the gym. The staff are all so kind and the instructors in classes are friendly as well. Judgement free place where you can go to let off some stress. Highly recommend anyone starting their fitness journey to give this place a go as it will not disappoint.

Great and friendly staff, motivative environment, great place to get positive results Gud thing only for women's which is much better and we can concentrate properly while doing workout no need to worry about clothing what we are wearing. Flexible timing ️

Amazing gym, friendly staff, great atmosphere and really good facilities. Extensive range of equipment right from weight lifting to cardio. This is truly the perfect environment to empower you in meeting your own fitness goals. You can really make the most of exercise here!

Working out with the Personal Trainers here at Fernwood has helped me achieve my fitness goals. They have been amazing and supportive. Really recommend PT for anyone that is looking to achieve their best personal goals.

Fernwood Craigieburn is an amazing. The staff are friendly and super helpful, and the facilities are top-notch. I love the variety of equipment and classes offered. The atmosphere is very welcoming and motivating. I also appreciated how hygienic the gym is - it was clear that cleanliness is a high priority here. I'd definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great workout!

I’m really happy I joined Fernwood Craigieburn last year. I was so nervous at first but everyone is so friendly and supportive. The facilities are great. I have no regrets and encourage everyone to join.

Why didn’t I join sooner! Love it women’s only gym, women encouraging one another and it’s just very comfortable to do your work out and then have a coffee in their meals area.

A fantastic gym for women to workout in. The staff are approachable and helpful. They work with you to help achieve your goals. The classes that I have attended have been great. I have been a member of many gyms in the past and most of them I could breeze in and out without anyone knowing, at Fernwood Craigieburn, I feel like a valued member.

I signed up around three months ago. Best decision i have made. I used to have anxiety working out in front of other people, but when going with my amazing PT. She had given me so much support over the past couple months. I go out of the gym feeling accomplished and better then ever. Really recommend Fernwood

Such a great gym! The staff are lovely.

I especially like the child minding area. Neelu, Steph and Chaminder are absolutely amazing. They are patient and great with the kids. I feel so at ease leaving my kids there while I workout.

I cancelled my membership with Fernwood Craigieburn outside my contract period and I asked them to put my membership on freeze as I can’t attend due to personal issues. I’m still getting money deducted even though my membership is on freeze.but apparently cos I have canceled my contract there is no such thing as putting your member ship on freeze you still have access to the gym because your paying of your last 2 payments in your cancellation period as per the cancellations terms.it would have been nice to know that your membership actually doesn’t get put on freeze instead of replying to emails saying yep that’s all been done for you freeze has been extended, your membership has been put on freeze. Really disappointed that wasn’t communicated with me. Especially cos I was told you get a charge for having your membership put on freeze which I agreed to and said that’s fine. But they didn’t mention you will still get deducted whilst being on freeze or hold up that a freeze doesn’t really apply you still have access to the gym. What a joke really upsetting

Your moto is to make women feel good about themselves. Is it by looting them? Women will be left with a scar if they decide to cancel their membership. Unbelievable, this made me stress more.

The staff are brilliant, so welcoming and supportive. They make you feel like part of the Fernwood Family. Love FIIT30 at 5.30am such a great way to start the day!
