Ferntree Gully Volkswagen

Overall, my experience of the service provided was disappointing.

Firstly, my vehicle wasn’t returned at the time promised. Upon booking, I was led to believe the servicing would take a "few hours". Upon dropping my vehicle off at around 8am, I was advised it would instead be ready by approximately 3pm. However, ultimately it wasn’t ready until around 4: 30pm. As my schedule was tight, this led to stress and frantic rushes to reorganise other priorities.

Secondly, communication was poor. While the booking was straightforward, dealing with the service centre was challenging. Upon dropping off my vehicle, the service centre confirmed my contact details with me and provided assurances that I’ll be given a call once collection was ready. However, there was no call at the collection time promised. Furthermore, my attempts to call the service centre were unsuccessful until the third attempt.

Thirdly, my vehicle was returned in a state that was less kempt than when I had dropped it off. The service centre did inform me that it wouldn’t clean my vehicle. However, I didn’t expect it’d be returned with bits of rubbish, dirtied carpets and all seatbelts unnecessarily buckled. The lack of consideration exasperated an already stressed state of mind and added to the irritation felt.

Given the disappointments, I won't be engaging anymore with this service centre. Perhaps the experience would've been positive if the efficiency and attention-to-detail it put into taking payment from me was also applied to the service.

Fantastic service. Purchased a new Tiguan R. The process was smooth and the salesman, Andreas, was lovely to deal with! Very helpful and just as excited as we were with our purchase and on pick up of the vehicle for us.

If I could give zero stars I would. Came to these guys with an oil leak problem where I was quoted over $2000 to fix. Ended up paying it but few months laters another leak occurred else where. They said it wasn’t covered under warranty and will cost me over $4000 to fix.

Could not believe this! Decided to take my car back and go else where. They said that’s not the problem, what volkswagon is claiming and he could fix it for $150. Will not be going back to VW, they are just out here to take your money

Last year i went into vw to book a service. There was 5 or 6 people just sitting at reception not helping anyone so after a while i walked out and went elsewhere. Thought id try again this year and its the same. No one returns call and when trying to call your put on hold for 10mins only to get back to reception and then go through it all again. Cant rate their service because its too hard ti get one

I lost my car during the recent floods and Corey at Ferntree Gully VW went above and beyond to assist me in finding a new car. He offered me a lower deposit due to the circumstances I was in, and came and picked me up from the train station so I didn’t need to get a bus. I bought my car subject to test drive and didn’t feel any pressure from him in making my decision. I got my new car today and I absolutely love it. It’s been a fantastic experience with Corey and I felt very looked after. Thanks again!

Overall nice experience here, nice dealership, purchased a car here.
Would be better if the car feature explanation during delivery could be a bit more detail.
A little free gift during delivery would be nice too.

Today, I picked up my eagerly awaited Tiguan R Line. As a previous Tiguan owner, I know the quality to expect from Volkswagen but my new car takes it to a new level. Volkswagon Ferntree Gully were and still are fantastic!
From the moment we went in to look at the Tiguan Allspace and to putting a holding deposit on one as the wait for cars these days is absolutely crazy they were all excellent to deal with.
The Volkswagon FTG company kept me up to date with the car and how far away it would be before arriving into Melbourne. Once the car arrived it was a very smooth and easy process to complete and before I knew it the car was coming home with me a month earlier than expected.
All the sales team and everyone else who works within Volkswagon FTG are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. Very well looked after and even though the car is now at its new home, the staff are still keeping in contact with me and making sure everything is running smoothly.
