We booked the Windmill Lodge via Air BNB for
our wedding night. Contacted to property owner and let her know there would be between 2 - 6 people staying. On the night, the 3rd bedroom was locked, and as a result we had 2 guests that had to pay for a 2+ hour Uber each to get home because they had no where to sleep.

Contacted the owner who then asked for more money because apparently after booking and paying in full, the property then became a ‘pay per bedroom’ property.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Nice little getaway amongst majestic trees and nature. We stayed at the Spa Cottage. It's quiet, comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay.

We stayed at the spa cottage, the spa was not working. There were two small logs and no kindling, so much for the fireplace. We had to buy dishwasher liquid, tinfoil, sugar & toilet paper. Also was aware the place was small but a headsup, if you are sitting on the fridge side you cannot open the fridge.disappointing considering the price

I was disappointed that when we stayed for $576 a night that there were no provisions, other than for 3 nights 6 coffees pods & 2 x 200ml long life milk…door to bathroom was blocked for renovations…@ that price surely they could add like most places in the area (a local bottle of wine, fresh milk, cheeses, & a box of eggs) …would cost them $50…hope the owners take this on board $576 is a lot!

Stayed at this retreat a few years back with my wife and baby daughter, the host was terrific and was more than helpful.
It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
We actually extended our stay by an extra 1-2 days by memory.
Would definitely recommend, easy 5 stars.

Nice cosy place with a friendly host. Nestled within a thick forest with giant old trees. Perfect place to spend a long weekend with family

Stayed 2 nights with family in April for my daughter's wedding. Very welcoming by host. Great breakfast provided. Beautiful place to stay very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful and tranquil, even saw a deer going past our window. 10/10

I stayed here the night before my wedding to get ready with my girls and go to the venue which was around the corner.had a good experience with Alix, she was quite attentive when i mentioned the microwave wasn't working, she came to swap it over so thank you.
Only issue i had is the driveway is a tad confusing, there needs to be clearer signage at the start of property to direct cars to go left as opposed to straight on into what looks like a carport, also the driveway is incredibly steep and windy and if i knew it was like that i wouldn't have booked as i had quite a few suppliers coming to us in the morning and i had to warn everyone about it! My mum had to actually stop half way and get someone else to drive her car up to the house.
House itself and surrounding location are gorgeous but wouldn't recommend a bridal party there just because of the access.

This place was beautiful! The host was lovely and accommodating and provided everything we needed. I stayed as a bridesmaid the night before a wedding at Tatra.
Wifi was included which was great as there was limited phone signal.
Cosy, beautiful rooms. Friendly burmese cats that lived on the property were so lovely too!

The only thing to look out for was the road on the way in - very steep and very narrow. I was glad I wasn't driving myself! But apart from that - beautiful rooms and we loved our stay.
