Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses - Burwood

The new owners are a breath of fresh air, kind and helpful in their service. Both gentlemen are approachable and friendly. Their cakes are airy, fresh and light if you're doing a special order or just sitting down for a cuppa and cake. Highly recommend supporting the new owners despite the competition of BonBons next door, this is definitely worth a try for their sweets and the Country Chicken Pie is a treat!

We had lunch here and cannot fault this place one bit with service and quality of foods and coffee. I had a sausage roll and my wife had an Angus pie absolutely amazing. The lovely person that served us was Erin she is the new owner here, she was wonderful and very welcoming.

Excellent service by the guy who was working on his own on Friday 6/1/23 in the morning. I phoned at 8.30am and he was they happy to hold the one passionfruit sponge cake they had in stock when I called and said I was 15 mins away. The forest hill store didn’t have any stock at all and feedback for head office is that your website online ordering system is not working and your Glen Waverley store advertised phone number rings out during business hours. Burwood store best in the area and the recipient of the passionfruit sponge was very happy.

The chai latte I had was great, and I was still able to buy a sausage roll mid-afternoon. Ferguson Plarre has become a favourite for me so I recommend this place.

Their food. Pies, sausage rolls, cakes are very very good. Their coffee is olso quite decent. Price may seem a little high but I'll always pick that and enjoy the great taste vs something I eat half of and throw away because it.well.just wasn't nice.

Don't bother! Over priced and the pie fell apart because the pastry was not soggy, it was basically liquid. They used the be awesome. Not anymore

They have lactose-free milk for your tea/coffee. So many places don't have this. My girlfriend was really happy about that.

The middle aged (Greek? Italian?) lady who helped me was really lovely, even though she was really busy. I will be back for sure.

PS: The coffee, tea and donuts were spot on. 5/5.

I have been regular customer of FPB for long and this time tried this pop-up store at Burwood one. I am appalled by the customer service and is absoutely bad. Pretty rude and dont seems to be interested in doing business
Cake also doesnt look fresh. There are few FPB around.and there is a BonBon cake shop next door t try out.
Would recomment to give this store a miss and if FPB is reading this, recommend this guy for a training course.

Horrible experience, staff were rude (short haired older woman), refused to wear a mask and got aggressive when I prompted them to put a mask over their face. Was followed to my car by a large man who I can only assume was staff or family and wasn't wearing any mask at all who got all up in my personal space threateningly. Aggressive, selfish and dangerous. Lady pulled up her mask for the photo, proving she knows full well how harmful her actions are.

Old lady with a short hair isn't friendly at all.
Bad customer service. Not coming back.
Coffee isn't bad though. I give 2 stars overall.

John & Mary serve up the delicious Ferguson Plarre range with excellent customer service. The best coffee around.

Ordered a cake here for my best friends birthday and they were unable to have it ready on the agreed time, there was a few hours delay and their unprofessional staff made it a nightmare for me to coordinate after the mistake was on their part. The cake looked visually decent however didn't anything special than what a frozen dessert would taste like. Will never be back as well as make it a point to communicate this pathetic service amongst my friends and family to also stay away!

We collected a huge selection of the Christmas range from our closest Ferguson Plarre on the weekend to ready ourselves for Christmas and several family events we had planned.

For a kids (and secretly adults) we ordered the Elf Drip Cake which was a tall cake, wonderfully decorated with layers of mud cake and frosting and a chocolate grenache topping. We also could go past a half dozen of the mixed vanilla and chocolate xmas cup cakes so cute.

If I had my way we would have ordered only fruit mince pies as these are my favourite xmas item but I was encouraged to try the lemon tarts and caramel chocolate tarts as well.

Lastly we ordered a traditional Christmas cake which will be good beyond Christmas Day and a DIY ginger bread house for my creative nephew.

All up a great selection of tasty treats. We picked these up first thing on Saturday and they were all ready and it was a really easy way to cater our Saturday afternoon event.

Walked past during a food shop recently & was surprised that Ferguson Plarre have gluten-free onion-free pies! It was hot & very delicious!

Even though I could not get what I was after, I loved how helpful they were in seeing whether other FPBs, in the area, had it.

Staff are terrible people, they're rude and unprofessional, overly expensive for a place that orders everything in and fail at the only thing they have to do which is customer service.
