Fencing by O'Briens

I had a Vogue panel fence and gate installed by Shane O'brien and his helpers. I had a Shire Approval to a height of 2 mtrs. O'Brien fencing erected my fence with a large gap under its entirety. As for the height it was below 2 mtrs. To use the gate required the whole body to push it or pull it open. Locked it one day and it stuck so I stood on a rubbish bin to climb over this fence to get inside my property. I am 65 years old. I unlocked the gate from the inside. Gate posts were closer at top causing gate issues.
Shane O'brien refused to replace the top panels to ensure 2 mtr fence or fix the gate. He did say he would drop the fence. But not replace the panels to ensure I had 2 mtrs high. I had already paid $7,500 of the $9,000 invoice, although I did not have to until completion. He had a debt collector calling me. I explained the above but he also was not interested. Shane O'brien called me demanding $1,500. I said fix gate, fix the gap and give me the 2 mtr height I am paying for. His response was to return to property were he removed the entire upper section panels of approx 26 mtrs of fencing plus all the capping and post cappings and the gate.
This in effect is excessive. Consider he took approximately 40% of fencing plus gate. So this would equate to approx $4,500. Not $1,500. Is that not stealing? Did not fix his errors then rips me off. Up side is the 12 panels were cut to short anyway so he has to replace them. He left some siliconed panels, they are too short also. Also had damaged 2 large pavers when installing gate and left me to drive to the store and replace myself.

Our fence got erected then we found out that O'Briens has installed the back fence 0.5 meters into our neighbours empty lot. We called them in December to have it corrected and were told that they were super busy until Feb. Feb came and went and still nothing. We called again and they said it'll be done without giving any dates.
Our neighbour from the back started site cut which prompted me to really get things going. He said it would be done this week but I haven't seen it yet.
Plus, how does a fencing company get pegging so wrong?

I had a back ColorBond fence installed by O'Briens. Due to poor workmanship, the panels collapse. Problem was the posts were not concreted properly and the panels came loose during strong winds. I made contact with the supplier for a period of 6 weeks and they still did not comeout to inspect the damage. I finally sent them the image of the fence and they then claimed someone had pushed the panels deliberately. They then refused to comeout to repair it without charging me for the call out.

Seriously - No customer service, poor communication, forget warrenty after installation and don't bother having them inspect any damage becuase its not their fault and you will pay for their repairs.

Make up your own mind in choosing to install your fence with these guys!

Fencinjg By Obriens have always been a pleasure to deal with i find their level of expertise to outstanding. Shane the director has been in the industry for year and he had no trouble telling me that the gauge of wire we were going to use would not last the time frame we wanted.

If you are after a no rubbish approach with sound advice you can go past these guys.
