3So far my experience with TAFE Gippsland has been very average to say the least. I was planning on starting the Certificate III in Horticulture course in March this year but felt so messed around and confused as to whether the course would be running or not. The communication has been very hit and miss both via email and phone calls. And today my RSA course got cancelled at the very last minute due to the trainer having a family emergency. I will give the admin staff credit for giving us the option of another course date or a refund. But I've already lost a lot of confidence in this TAFE so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
Shout out to the teachers in the nursing department! Made my educational experience so worth wild, I enjoyed every class. 10/10 would recommend to friends
The office staff are paid because? They are useless. Won't take paperwork to pass on to appropriate person, offer absolutely no help if you are trying to locate a lecturer, NEVER answer the phone. It can take 12 calls and 8 messages and then you have to basically drive into town (tough luck if you live on a farm) useless. Hire people who take pride in their jobs and are competent! Not people who sit there because they need the pay check only and don't give a care in the world to actually assist people.
