Delicious chicken and friendly staff. Tenders are great. So are the waffles and the burgers

They should really think about delivery order / ubereats. If you order their drink, it’s will be hard for the driver to carry it, because they dont provide cup holder like other coffee shop / mcd. Either the cup will spill out if the driver put in their bag, or the driver should hold it when they riding.

If that happen dont know will give the driver bad review or the restaurant

Another great fried chicken eatery in Melbourne was F. A. T Fried And Tasty. We tried their delicious juicy-on-the-inside-crispy-on-the-outside fried chicken “The Original” with a side of Poutine fries which was chips covered in melted cheese and gravy, and also as amazing. Housed in a spacious modern venue coupled with great friendly service (they even give us an extra piece of chicken so we could split the chicken evenly between the two of us!), F. A. T.was an excellent lunch choice.

We got chicken tenders with sides, chips and coleslaw were good however chicken itself was too salty, it was tasty but way too much salt that you couldn't go through two bites without needing water

In my experience at F. A. T. Fried the staff has never ever let me down. I walked in one day and ordered three pieces of chicken and chips. Five minutes into my meal the chef walked out with a serve of gravy. He said, you can't eat chips dry, the gravy is on the house. That's not just service, that's understanding. Today Sunday the 27th of March 2022 l walked into F. A. T Fried and Tasty, l had a great meal. What l have been noticing for some time is when you order food you get more than what you order. That's great value for money. There was 2 waitress working on the night. One was El, l didn't get the name of the second waitress, but she was just as friendly. This is a great place to eat, where the food is great and the staff are even better. I'm very big on public reviews so l always call it the way it is. I don't write bad reviews and l don't endorse restaurants with bad food and bad staff, if l don't like the place l just don't go back. Go try F. A. Came all the way to Brunswick to try F. A. T while visiting Melbourne and honestly don't understand why it's so highly rated.

It's good, no doubt. Chicken and waffles are a tried and tested combo. But I felt the execution of each individual component could've been done better. The batter and flavour of the fried chicken was so-so. Little too salty and oily, and not crispy enough. The waffle was soft, not crunchy at all. Ice cream was nice though, but I doubt they made that.

Maybe other things are good.

We had Fried and Tasty on Lygon tonight and once again it was absolutely incredible. The service was awesome as usual from ordering to picking up our meal. Friendly, generous and efficient especially since it was busy when we arrived. The mixed green salad goes so well with the crispy and tender buffalo wings, and the servings here are very generous.

I have eaten here probably a couple of dozen times over the past 5 years as I used to live just up the road. I was never a fan of the burgers, but the fried chicken is still in my top 3 in Melbourne, and I have tried a fair few places at this point.

Deep Fried Chicken is one of my favourite food group. Growing up in Asia,
I thought crunchy, battered fried chicken was invented by the standard bearer Kentucky Fried Chicken. It is only recently that I discovered American Southern Fried chicken may have been influenced by Scottish immigrants. Although I lean more towards Korean Fried Chicken and Taiwanese Fried chicken nowadays, I still have a soft spot for Southern Fried Chicken.

That's why, I recently took a tram (1 & 6) to the aptly named F. A. T in Brunswick East.

For me, there's is something magically addictive in the combination of waffle, maple syrup and fried chicken - the one at FAT is good - crunchy, crispy, aromatic, sweet. The peach and Cayenne chicken is a clever combination (sweet, chilli), although the pour on sauce does take away the crispiness of the fried chicken. The medium sized cut chips is good - crispy with creamy flesh.

Been there with my partner couple of weeks back, absolutely mind blowing Tasty chickens, only two favourite fried chicken in Melbourne KFC wicked wings and FAT chicken. I live in the CBD that's why I am unable to order online otherwise I wouldn't mind ordering it everyday. Staff service is amazing and everything about the place is A+, definitely will ba back.

Very quick service, awesome vibe. Burger was a little underwhelming but priced well and still tasted very nice. I'll go again!

As a vegetarian, the Fake chicken burgers have been a real blessing and so so delicious, also the chips have the best seasoning EVER!

Shared a bucket of the hot chicken today with a selection of hot sauces. Everything was on point. The chicken was tender and succulent without being too oily, the chips were great, the sauces were fire, and the coleslaw was a great way to cool off in between. Topped off with a couple of shakes and it was the perfect way to blow off the lockdown cobwebs!

Still remember the day back in 2020 during COVID when I came in to pick an Uber order.while waiting this crew member saw me standing in line and I asked I him if they served Halal and he told me yeah and when I was about to leave he packed me a hot & fresh crispy leg piece for free!

Best fried chicken in all of Melbourne, never dry, always crispy good servings, best to dine in or take away as delivery surcharge is pretty high.

Chips have a great seasoning and the servings are always great.

I used to love this place.tried going in to order in store for take out.they had a stack of takeaway menus. I was then told I had to do it through an app. (Why would you have a stack of paper menus? !) The range has changed too, you can't order just chicken, it has to come as a pack. So gutted

Probably the best service we've ever received. The staff were SO lovely and put in so much effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food and music too!
