Maybe the chef is fat because he eats half the ribs?
How is 9 measly pieces a full rack of ribs? $39 is terrible value.

The food however did taste great, and was served in very good time.

As a celebration for the end of the year, me and my company came here for some food and drinks. This atmosphere was amazing.

Something you should try here (to share) is the massive 1kg chicken parma, it's HUGE. (attached a picture of it)

Amazing steak night at Fat Chef! I asked for a well done steak… They perfectly cooked it to my satisfaction, it wasn’t over cooked at all! One of my rare experiences in having a well done steak… I really enjoyed of what I had plus a yummy mushroom sauce, a bit of salad and fresh fries! Great atmosphere too! Certainly will back there soon! Highly recommended!

Very disappointed with my meal I ordered chicken wings/ cripsy fried with chilli sauce and what I got was chicken wings sauted with vinegar and smoke paprika not crisp fried not even chilli hot and the vinegar was so strong it hurts my eyes and you could smell it from afar I have to clean the sauce out with paper tower so I can eat them it was awful and not pleasant to eat I end up given my meal to my partner because I could not eat at all it was absolutely disappointing It was my first time there and it will be my last very sad.

Great coffee, excellent food but abhorrent service.
This used to be my coffee mainstay. However several times I’ve had to leave after paying and waiting 20+ minutes for my brew.
The person making coffee needs to show someone else how to make the same quality but in a reasonable timeframe.
Dine in seems to be the same. The lady who appears to be the manager/owner needs to spend less time farting around and more time on customer service. Dirty menus are also a pet hate. Sure h a shame given the quality of the produce.

Pay peanuts get monkeys. Understaffed cause no one wants to work for scraps. Service needs major attention. Staff are the business. Otherwise I like the general atmosphere and if you know what to order then the chef does a good job…but it has been hit and miss with food. They love deep frying everything. The only really good point about FC is the house beer…it is actually amazing. And barrister is pretty good.

They changed menu’s prices have gone up and honestly quality has dropped! I Had fat chef burger no flavour all I can taste it chard grill taste. The pork belly dry. I was a local customer but don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon

My friends and I met there for dinner. My first time to Fat Chef, friends have been there often.for entrée we had the nan platter and i had garlic prawn for the main. Absolutely beautiful.

Very friendly staff, we were impressed how nice the atmosphere was, will definately be back.

Very disappointing. People left because there was a 15 min wait on coffees. Lady so slow at making coffees. Man who takes orders gets confused and flustered and always needs help when operating cash register and taking orders. Can't wait for regular staff to come back from holidays

We always LOVE to have a meal or takeaway from here. Was here celebrating my youngest Sons birthday tonight. The chicken parma meals are the BEST! I ate my apprentice size easy but my kids could not handle the Sous chef size.

First time dining in today wasn’t sure what to expect as previous reviews were so mixed and matched. Today this was our experience…We had a group of thirteen people comprised of kids and adults. As soon as we walked in the door straight off the bat we were greeted with smiles and hellos. We were automatically taken to our booked table. The menu was so diverse and appetising it made the options very difficult to select. Eventually orders were made. The food didn’t take long to arrive. The quality and taste were amazing - compliments to the chefs. The portions justified the price definitely. The desserts were fantastic. Fresh and tasty (again big portions) gave our dining experience the perfect finishing touch. Great services were consistent throughout. Fat Chef restaurant is without a doubt a highly recommended place to dine in. Can’t wait to go back. See you guys again soon. Cheers!

Went with a couple of friends. We had a great time and our waiter was so funny he had us in stitches. The atmosphere is good as is the food (albeit a bit pricey). It's fully licensed too.

Very good consistent coffee here.

Brunch was lovely, however meals came out before coffee. Definitely need more workers, as wait time to order was quite long.

All Food was delicious and came out quite quickly. I didn't get to see if the Chef was fat though unfortunately!

I have been here 3 times now that’s 3 times to many.

Last time I was there ordered a chicken Parma and the chicken was still raw and cold in the middle.

I could tell it had been microwaved and it was disgusting.
Never again!

Best place ever had my birthday there on the 18th staff was very helpful and professional highly recommended this place for a great meal and night out at a good price love it love it love it will be back again

Fantastic food and drinks- we really enjoyed chicken caeser salad, chips, and awesome spice chai latte! Service was all great except a bit slow to serve the food (not as hot as it could be).
