Over the last year I have been working in the construction industry in Melbourne, mostly labouring on worksites. I am from the UK and am in Australia on the working holiday visa. The last 6 months I have only worked with Fast Labour Hire. In my opinion they are by far the best agency, in this area of Australia, and I can say this as I have worked with a good number of agencies whilst being here.
The work is consistent, if you are reliable they will do everything they can to get you out 40 hours a week.
The pay is competitive and in your bank every week with no hassle. Overtime and weekend higher rates give you a great opportunity to save a bit while you are here which is what I have done.
What separates Fast Labour Hire from other agencies though is the lads in the office. Straight forward honest people who are only a phone call away or a text the service they provide is outstanding.

I have dealt with Fast Labour Hire as a traffic controller on their books and subsequently as a procurer of labour hire services for the construction company I work for. As a backbacker just landing in Melbourne, I found them welcoming, professional and felt they looked after me, often coming out to site to make sure I was getting on okay and endeavouring to give me a steady supply of work.
As a labour hire supplier, I have found them prompt, professional and work with you to ensure your needs are met. They have a wide range of general labourers, skilled labourers and traffic controllers which they have often supplied at very short notice. The guys in there are gentleman and a pleasure to deal with! 5 Stars!
Great company to work for. I've worked for flh for a while now and they've made it easy for me to travel Australia and have a base in Melbourne and have work to come back to.
All of the guys are easy to get along with and the travel aspects thanks to Melbournes public transport are easy
