Authentic Italian food, pizzas were yummy and we love the polenta chips.

My girlfriends and I and came from Adelaide for a short Melbourne trip - and Farro was by far our favourite restaurant. We all ordered a pizza and were so happy with the quality! The ingredients were so fresh, the dough tasted amazing and they were cooked perfectly. What made our experience even better was the amazing service. As soon as we walked in, all the staff were so friendly and the table service was incredible. Plus they make amazing cocktails! Very reasonably priced too. It’s our first visit and we ordered a patate pizza made from organic spelt. It tasted awesome and their service is totally impeccable. Our waitress is constantly checking on us and ensuring that all is good. Highly recommended to visit this place in Melbourne!

On a lovely evening, my fiancé, mother, and I set out to Chapel St following a few friends to dine at a restaurant separate to where they booked. As we were ambling past, we chanced upon Farro and decided to venture in, eager to sample their cuisine. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. From the moment we stepped inside, we were swept away by the ambiance - the warm, inviting lighting, the subtle yet elegant decor, and the hushed chatter of fellow diners, all coalescing into a feeling of understated sophistication.

The service was beyond reproach, with the waitstaff exuding a sense of professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth that put us at ease right away. My mother had celebrated her birthday a few days earlier, which we had mentioned in passing, but we were touched by the staff's thoughtfulness in taking note of it. They surprised her with a charming birthday greeting and a candle on our after-dinner dessert, which was a wonderful way to cap off an already exceptional evening.

As for the cuisine, we were blown away by the gourmet offerings. Unlike the typical blandness that plagues many French and Italian-inspired dishes, Farro's cuisine boasted an abundance of flavor, body, and complexity. Every bite was a revelation, with each dish tantalizing our taste buds with a symphony of flavors and textures that left us wanting more.

The understated heritage-inspired atmosphere added to the overall experience, imbuing the restaurant with a sense of history, tradition, and cultural richness. It was an immersive dining experience that left us feeling satisfied, content, and grateful. If you're looking for a restaurant that goes above and beyond in every aspect, then Farro is the place to be. I cannot recommend it enough and wish that I could give the service more than five stars.

Excellent meal at Farro Pizzeria. I would recommend it to anyone. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and surroundings were great. Sonia gave us great service.
The spaghetti gamberi had great umami a little spice and perfectly cooked pasta.
The pizza had crispy crust and a thin base with high quality toppings.

My favourite place to dine for the most incredible pizza and pasta! Great atmosphere with super friendly staff. I love coming here on date nights with my partner ~ the pistachio gnocchi is my favourite and an absolute must try! The menu also includes vegan and gluten free options which is perfect for those with dietary requirements. This place never disappoints.

My favourite pasta, pizza restaurant. Pizza great but so is the pasta. It has a real European stamp on it, from the fit out of the restaurant to the food to the service. First time I've been in without the very cool, very sweet, responsive owner there. Staff were fantastic. Highly recommended. Not pretentious but very, very good.

Went here for dinner on Thursday night with wife and our 2 year old daughter. The staff were extremely polite and were very accommodating with our daughter. There is high chair and also gave her stickers! We had the Zucca (pumpkin) pizza, crocchette, Rigatoni Norcina and cheese cake; all were very good. The decor was also nice and cozy. Definitely would be coming back.

This is the THE restaurant with soul! The people who run this place, who work here, are HAPPY! How do they do this? I've no idea but eating in the environment they create is a delightful experience.

Finally found an Italian restaurant where the food is not overpriced and the quality is maintained at a high standard. Will definitely return.
