Experience was quick, easy and seamless.found the portofino lamp table online that showed availability at the showroom.website had a "view it in your home" feature which was very handy to visualise what it may look like in your chosen area.arrived and was served by staff, promptly made the purchase and collected the item behind the warehouse.hassle free.

I understand that sometimes things get delayed but it is basic service to keep the customer informed. Over 3 months with no sofa and no updates.
My order was delayed at least 3 times but they never bother to update, I had to call up each time only be told it is delayed. I will never buy from Morabbin store, and fantastic furniture in general if this the standard they accept of their staff and never will I recommend fantastic furniture to anyone. The care factor from management and staff here is zero. I suppose they think being a budget store ppl will buy anyway, well the economy is slowing maybe they will face the music soon.

Delivery people are incredibly useless, and the store itself for lack of support. Got told they attempted delivery and tried calling despite someone waiting at the door all day. Don't expect a delivery on a day you request, try collecting it yourself if possible.

Can’t thank Lily enough, went in and purchased a couch they had in stock, but change of heart, I went back in and she swapped with no hassle at all. Have gotten most of my furniture here due to the great service.

Terrible experience buying furniture here. Was told on two occasions that my furniture was being delivered only for the delivery to be cancelled on both occasions having waited around for 4-5 hours on both occasions before being told by text they were cancelling the delivery. Had to take the day off work on both days to be home for the deliveries that never came…
Would definitely not recommend Fantastic Furniture to anyone ….

Had a worst experience with Fantastic Furniture. They will take your money and then you have to literally beg them for your furniture. The delivery got cancelled twice on the day of delivery.

Worst experience ever. Incompetence from salesperson to store manager. Ordered sofa and ottoman and was told it would take 12 weeks. Received a text two days later to say order is ready, and delivery date was arranged. Text received day before delivery to confirm time. Furniture was not delivered! Contacted store to be told that today's delivery was only for the fabric protection, and the furniture would be delivered in 18 to 20 weeks. Cancelled order. Would not recommend shopping at this store.

Definitely NOT fantastic. One star too many.

Worst customer service ever. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! No one answers to the emails or any requests and when I called the store the only answer I got is that “I don’t work for customer care”. Very disappointed and unfortunately it will cost them a lot of customers who would have happily spent there money there.

Pleasant in store service and great prices, ended up buying a table but the table was bowed. Was offered a replacement or partial discount in a timely manner. Overall happy with the experience.

Just a tip, if you're buying the "Avenue" Dining Chairs, they're a nightmare to work with if you're just using the provided allen key.

Instead, get a inner hex bit for your drill and use the drill to drill the bolts in, you'll need the extra power to get them in.

We had the most awful instore customer experience and we are still waiting on the reply to our email asking for an explanation. A shout out to Mia who took our initial order and deposit over the phone and the stores guys for loading up the truck that we had hired for the day to help my son move. From the time we arrived at the store (Mia unfortunately wasn't available), the service was horrendous. Everything was too much trouble. Maybe they are so busy and making so much money that they don't need to offer any form of customer service. We were there to purchase a last minute bed and mattress for my son who was moving house. We also enquired about a couch - to be told - who we found out later was apparently the store manager, there was no stock anywhere except Bendigo otherwise there is a 6 week wait. Funnily enough after we drove all the way back to Malvern with the bed, and my son looks online to look into getting it delivered from Bendigo and it says there is a couch available from the Moorabbin store that we just left. We ring and get another girl and yes there is, so we drive all the way back to get it. There was no apology for the misinformation, not even an offer of a discount for the fact that the manager didn't appear to know what he was doing when he was looking for stock initially. He was in the stores area when we arrived for the 2nd time and took off as soon as he heard that we were there to pick up the couch as the stores guy recognised us with the truck. Maybe they have people dropping in everyday to drop a few thousand dollars on furniture that they can just blow off a sale like that in the first place. Who knows. We won't be going back.

We ordered a couch online in Nov. Were told it would take approximately 10-12 weeks. After 12 weeks we contacted fantastic to see what was happening and were given a delivery date for the following week. On the morning of the delivery we received a text message saying it had been cancelled, no reason given. We called them and a new delivery date was set for the following week. Waited at home during the 3 hour delivery slot we were given, no couch. No text message. Called them again and were told it was cancelled because they were out of stock - on a couch ordered 3 months ago? ! After numerous calls, emails and online chats we were told that the original couch was damaged in transit and we would get another one in approximately 2 weeks. Not great but ok. Then I receive a phone call this morning saying the details they now had about our order was that we wouldn't be getting it until May! Seriously! A complete waste of time and energy. Their customer service was shocking (apart from a few nice people on the phone) and the communication between their staff, warehouse and delivery people is non existent. I will never be (attempting to) purchase from these guys again. Now I have to go couch shopping again.

Delivery process is beyond belief. I have never experienced such a debacle with other furniture stores. Staff don’t care and have bad attitudes. I will never shop there again as it gave me more anxiety than positivity. I’m not even going to go into details of my experience because not-so Fantastic Furniture as a company won’t even care, like their staff. Very disappointing.

I purchased a table and chairs. The chairs have still not arrived after constant communication. 2 times the wrong chairs were packed. Got told by the driver the store would reschedule delivery. After communicating with customer service team 3 times, I get told it was marked as delivered which it NEVER came. They organised warranty claim, and I still don't have it yet.

A paying customer doesn't get looked after. You pay and you don't get your products.

In summary - It's not worth it.
The prices drew me in, but I ultimately regret ordering online with Fantastic Furniture. I have been waiting 5 months (!) for my order to arrive, and called/emailed 6+ times for information regarding the status of my order.
I can understand to some extent that these delays are out of the company's control, however what is not excusable is the complete disregard for the customer experience. There has been zero communication to me about my order and I am doing all of the followup. Even when I miraculously get a hold of someone, they either don't have information or it is inaccurate (e.g. Been told 4 different dates of delivery that never eventuated).

Terrible delivery, communication and customer service!
Our delivery order got pushed back 3 times, very likely rediverted to other customers!
and the response that we got every time was 'the stock will be in the DC tomorrow, then we will arrange the delivery' then when I called to follow up a few days later, no delivery was organised.
I was patient to wait and let go of the first 2 mistakes that were made by the store staff and lack of communication, the 3rd time was the last straw!
The delivery of the remaining furniture was booked to deliver on certain date, and when the delivery arrived, there was stock missing. I called the store again, and I spoke to the same person who organised the delivery; he said that there is currently no stock. Although, I spoke to him a few days earlier to confirm there was stock for Delivery. So how could the no stock situation happen? That means that our order must have been delivered to another customer.
I would not recommend this service to anyone! Unless you're willing to wait for your furniture in unlimited timeline.

4 out of 5 pieces in my click and collect order were sitting for four weeks while no one sorted out the 5th item that they didn't have in stock. I called and was told that they had no plans to get any more from distribution centre, so I was pretty much doing their job and asking them to have it transferred from another store. I've been told I'd get a call back with ETA multiple times, with NO call backs with any update.it's coming up to 6 weeks since placing the order and I am yet to collect my order. I've had much better experiences at the Nunawading store.
