I ordered takeaway from here last week. I ordered a vegetarian dish. All vegetables were on top, with sauce and plain noodles at the bottom. I did what anyone would do and mixed it up. The first mouthful to my horror, I crunched on a piece of metal, and broke my tooth. I contacted restaurant and was told someone would call me back but I still haven’t been contacted. I’m not only out of pocket $40 for the food I threw away. But $300 for the dental fees due to my tooth! Avoid.

This has been the best meal delivered in a long long time. I could not fault a dish. Delivered hot and fresh. Flavours were spot on and leaving me wanting more. Portions were more than ample though. Can not recommend highly enough.

Had their food many times. Always great quality food at reasonable price. Definitely the best Chinese food in the area.

Having tried all of the local Chinese takeaway to us, we found Fairy Bird on doordash, and we are so glad we did! The dishes all had so much flavour and plenty of food in each container. Meat was tender and not chewy. Wontons were very crunchy and not oily. The only, very small downside was the sauce in the meat and vegetables was a bit salty, but overall we will order again.

Ordered Mongolian veges and noodles for my elderly Mum and she couldn’t eat it as it was so hot. I’ve never had a Mongolian sauce that was red in colour and chilli hot. The dish was 90 % noodles and looked like tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce. Rang to talk to them about it and was rudely told to add water.
No thanks. It went in the bin. An expensive restaurant with inferior quality meals.

Sometimes good are not the best… inconsistent quality of food. At this time, the sweet and sour pork we got was not cooked properly.

Have ordered from here in the past and had no issues, however tonight the delivery driver decided to give our food to some random who was out the front of our house. When I called to query the delivery, the lady on the phone told me that yes she had delivered the food, she remembered she gave it to a man who walked 10 metres down the street. I know their website say "Contactless Delivery" but this is just ridiculous. She then told me she will cook the food again and deliver in 30 minutes. When I asked for the order to be cancelled and to get a refund she argued that she would cook it again. We had already waited over an hour for the food so was not willing to wait any longer. Eventually she said she would contact Menulog to sort it. Needless to say we contacted Menulog direct to ensure this was dealt with correctly.

We ordered garlic prawns, beef with oyster sauce, combination fried rice and steamed rice and let me tell you that it had no flavour at all. Garlic prawns and rice smelt weird and it friggin cost me $61 just to get thrown in the bin. Not happy

Our first experience with this place today. I just want to say: this isn’t Chinese food, this is bland “Chinese influence” Aussie food. I mean, not even the veggies are sliced the Chinese way. We Ordered fried rice which I’m pretty sure was boiled (maybe boiled and tossed in a pan with no oil for 5 seconds), and two noodle boxes drenched in liquid where both the king prawns and beef seemed boiled. Blandest food pretending to be Asian we have ever had. Please visit the city or inner suburbs every now and then, a business should keep itself informed and competitive. Pricey as well for what you offer. We will NOT repeat the experience of purchasing from FB. The only reason I didn’t give one star for this insulting appropriation of Chinese food is because at least it seemed fresh.

We have previously had great service from Fairy Bird, but unfortunately tonight was not a good experience. Our food was half an hour late being delivered. I phoned to enquire as to its location and was told it was "on its way".
I live in Nepean Highway in Bonbeach, which is about a 2 minute drive from Fairy Bird. After another 10 minutes, I phoned again to enquire about the delivery. I was told it was still "on its way". I asked to cancel, as the food would be lukewarm by the time it arrived. I was passed on to another staff member who refused to let me cancel as it was "on its way". We were refused a refund, and the lady was incredibly rude to us.

The food finally arrived and it was cold and soggy. The delivery driver told us we were his fourth delivery in that run - he had also delivered further away than Bonbeach on that same run, which means the food sat in the back of his car for an extended period.

We were not happy and decided to eat elsewhere tonight, so we have thrown away nearly $80 worth of food. Think twice before ordering from Fairy Bird.

We just ordered close to $100 worth of food from this shop only to throw the majority out and go buy Maccas.

The Wontons were burnt and dry with almost no filling, the chicken skewers were not cooked all the way through and looked raw, spring rolls were tasteless and doughy, curry puff was soggy and tasted pre frozen with a cold centre, steak was tough and veggies were soggy. The rice was barely a pass. All 3 adults that ordered were disappointed with their meals.

We rebagged it all and put It in the bin.

Very unhappy and would certainly not recommend. Our usual Asian takeout was closed tonight, so we tried some where different.

No thank you.
