Fairhills High School

Such a fantastic place to learn and socialise, everywhere you walk there is someone greeting you. I feel like my state of belonging at this school is incredibly strong. Staff and students and of course the music making my 6 years here fly by, I could not recommend this school enough.

No duty of care at this school, poor communication with parents, they do not adhere to many policies either, this has resulted in students getting low grades, high absenteeism amongst other issues

I'm a student from another high school, we versed the year 10 girls volleyball team today at interschool sport and came across the rudest students with the worst sportsmanship, some players on my team are beginners and have to take their time when serving the ball, the Fairhills students kept distracting them by being impatient and making rude comments, it got the the point we're the ref told us that they'd given her trouble earlier today and if they were rude again, she would deduct points.
Their coach, I'm assuming a teacher from the school, didn't do or say anything to stop the students.
I know Fairhills can't do anything about it but I thought others should know how much the Fairhills students have ruined the day and put others down.

I have had a wonderful experience for the past four years at Fairhills High school. I have never been happier to say that my education has incredibly thrived. The opportunities I have made throughout Fairhills has been an honour even out of school premises. I would recommend anyone to send their students to Fairhills from my experience. I have expanded my knowledge in areas I could not clearly understand before Fairhills, I’m very glad I had chosen to move here.

Went here for almost 6 years, just finished recently.the schools not the worst but its not very good either.probably could've come out a bit smarter if I went to a different school.over all just kind of musty.

Went to this school. Most teachers did not do their job properly, didn't care about the students or were just straight up rude. The staff and principles only cared about uniform and not how students were going in the class room. The sport staff were the only good part of the school

Good school but wouldn't recommend any academic students to attend here as the SEAL program isn't the best, I'd recommend Highvale instead.

Good school being going for 4 years a lot has changed since the new principal came teachers are supportive and good definitely going to miss this school in 2 years

The best service is for international students, and teacher look after students really well. Specially, my sister have studied here for year 11, and year 12. She have not been studied well and she always stand at bottom of class. But the man, edmund, who look after international student and her teacher alway encourage my sister to make effort and help her really well. Moreover, when my sister was going to take VCA EXAM, my sister got accident and have to take surgery. Edmund and his college help her really good about exemption for VCE exam. I am greatful to them. And definitely, i recommend to who want to study in Victoria, Australia, fair hill high school is the best for you.

Caught in the middle of the pandemic, my son had to do online and offshore as an international Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and Virtual School of Victoria (VSV) student for 2 straight years. He had a unique arrangement and perhaps one of the many firsts that our family and the school have encountered in this new normal.

Emotionally, physically and mentally challenging, but, thank God there were more silver linings along the way. Despite the tough situation we were in, giving up was NEVER our option! Not without everyone's support. Praise God!

Thank you for this experience and opportunity Fairhills Highschool! Grateful to the never-ending support from the people behind everything. To the teachers and coordinators who became our instant family without even meeting them in person. Special mention to Mr. Edmund Chow, Ms. Karen Dean and Ms. Silvana La Leggia! We've been extremely happy with Fairhills - especially with the quality of the teaching. There are some really amazing teachers here and I have been really impressed with how they cater for children at the level they're at - supporting where necessary and offering plenty of opportunities for extension and following interests. Additionally, the teachers and support staff are very caring and teacher/parent/student communication is excellent. I'm so pleased the school has recently been awarded its first significant funding for building works and looking forward to the new buildings. Well deserved.

As a parent of three students at Fairhills High School, I cannot recommend this high school enough! Our teachers and supporting staff are really passionate and go above and beyond every day to help my kids and their friends' group. The school provides great learning opportunities for all student abilities and are always on hand to offer assistance to both students and parents. This would have to be one of the best schools in the area.

I started at Fairhills High School in year 12 which was a risk as year 12 is the most challenging year of schooling, however it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a new student, I felt so welcomed by all of the staff and students that I wish I joined sooner. It is such a homely school and it is evident that the teachers not only care for the students’ academic abilities, but also care for their wellbeing. I felt so well-supported that I was able to stay motivated even during Covid and achieve a better result than I expected, which enabled me to get into the University course I’ve always wanted. I couldn’t recommend a school more highly than Fairhills. I have a younger brother who is still a current student at Fairhills and feels the same way. I will forever be thankful for my experience at this fantastic school.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the teachers and well-being team at Fairhills who have regularly checked-in with my daughter during this recent lockdown. Thank you for your support. It made her day!

This is a regional high school with all the indoor facilities for all sorts of learning activities and sports activities. There is a large ground suitable for cricket or rugby and a whole complex is available for basketball. In addition, there is an indoor area with a theater large enough to hold a large crowd.

Fantastic school! Fairhills take care of the builing problems really well! 1 year in and I already feel at home! I would highly recommend this school!

I would recommend this school but here you can meet really rude people and have lots of friends to talk to
