This is the story of my experience:
I first visited Fairbanks Eye Gallery in 2018 with my ten year old son. Matt had been seeing a local eye specialist from three years old and it was time to transition back to an optometrist. I was nervous about finding a practitioner that I could trust with Matt’s eyesight. I was hesitant about seeing any of the chain optometrists. Our eye specialist mentioned that Peter Fairbanks was very highly regarded and extremely knowledgeable in eye health and vision. She was not wrong! Stepping into Fairbanks Eye Gallery for the first time, Matt and I were warmly welcomed by Peter and Benjamin.
Peter undertook Matt’s eye test with a very caring approach. Peter uses a holistic approach to eye care and to my amazement he made minor adjustments to Matt’s prescription which resulted in him being able to read two lines better on the chart! This made an unthinkable difference to Matt’s vision! Matt still says to this day that “seeing Peter was the best thing we have done for my eyes”. Peter took the time to fully explain the situation with Matt’s eyesight, which was valuable information.
I have an unshakeable amount of trust in Peter and Benjamin and without any doubt, I believe they are number one in the eye care business. I would not go anywhere else!

Fantastic professional service and quality diagnosis. Having worn glasses for over 35 years Fairbanks service was the best prescription and fitting I’ve experienced in many years and considered total eye health with excellent after care and follow up.

My son Max has been visiting Fairbanks since he was 10 months old and diagnosed with long sightedness. At this stage his script was being changed regularly and Benjamin and Peter were very accommodating and made sure the glasses were suited to his needs. We would call in regularly from our home 1 1/2 hrs away to have them tightened and replaced when broken. Max is now 15 years old and we trusted Peter's expertise in helping Max to transition to contacts for sport. Peter has been extremely patient with Max and guided him to successfully use the contact lenses. I cannot recommend Peter and Benjamin any higher for their interaction and treatment of Max over our years visiting the business.

Misdiagnoses an eye condition in one of my kids, attributed it to tiredness.
