This place has amazing food! Had dinner with the family here and we loved everything we ordered the fish of the day combos, fishermans basket and a bunch of sides.
We absolutely loved it.
Fresh seafood cooked to perfection
Definitely will be back.

Lovely indoor and outdoor settings, similar to that of Fayrouz Cafe next door. Awesome halal food.fish and chips are great. This is our 2nd visit. And we were not disappointed. We had to try their burgers and wraps. Outstanding is their home burger, Fish Wrap and chicken shawarma. We'll come back again!

Definitely coming back. We ordered two fish basket one grilled one fried. I can say the grilled fish was perfect. See you soon.

4 stars only because for a fried fish piece of $15 it didn’t come with tartare sauce. And when asked, were charged $2.50 per portion for it despite having placed an order of ~$250!

Like seriously a fish n chips shop serving $15 fish n $12 chips without tartare sauce for dipping!

If this place had chicken salt on there chips, it might be the best in CS.

The food and the vibe is just wow, Had the most amazing meal today we had the silver whiting with chips/salad. Exactly what CS needed will definitely be back

Had an unreal experience at Flakes was greeted with amazing customer service filled with a great atmosphere and friendly staff, The food was also unbelievable and haven’t had that fresh of a burger and chips in a long time. Strongly recommend to everyone.

Its not easy finding a good 100% halal fish and chips (no bacon/alcohol) where you can actually dine in. We've been here twice and both times were absolutely amazing. The sweet chilli sauce they use on the salmon is so good! They have a great range of burgers and each one of them were better than the next, food was outstanding I couldn't fault any dish, I'll definitely be a regular. The decor is stunning and i loved the outdoor seating especially on a beautiful day

The fish are fresh and the serving size of the fish fillets are generous. Lovely crispy chips and salad. The fresh calamari and squid are delightfully soft to chew. The spicy fried Chicken burger was excellent. We can't wait to try more dishes in our next visit. Best part is it's Halal!

The staff and the food were absolute world class, food was extremely fresh and tasty, service was immaculate and staff were extremely friendly and prompt. The views of the lake were breathtaking and location is perfect and lively as it is close to a shopping centre and lake. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

I’ve been here a couple times now and on both occasions the centre of the flake needs to be fried a little more - I first thought it might be frozen hence it’s not cooking through properly but seeing the fresh fish on display made me rethink that the flakes are frozen. I think the portion sizes are quite small compared to other fish and chip shops I have been too in the area. Overall it’s okay, probably will purchase fish and chips elsewhere moving forward. A little too pricey too in my opinion for what you’d usually pay at a fish & chips shop. Thanks anyway.

Visited F-lakes and all I can say is wow! This will definitely be my go-to fish and chip shop now. The fresh window display that they have is super impressive and game changer. The silver whiting was absolutely delicious and our grilled fish was cooked to perfection it literally melted in our mouths. Great work to the team at f-lakes I’m sure we will be back very soon.

Ordered Salt and Pepper Squid only to find when it was finally bought out there was only 5 Pieces of Squid on the Plate for $16.50!

Maybe if you can alter your menu and have
Salt & Pepper Squid
Chips
Salad
As a meal for $24.00
Maybe then it would be worth sitting and having a meal at F Flakes.

Customer Service was a bit poor.
And Noticed the front staff were focusing on take away more than serving customers that took the time to Dine in.

Hopefully things will Pick Up in Time.

We came in at 8: 50pm (yes, we were THOSE customers) and were greeted with nothing but respect. The food was amazing and the service was better. BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN THE WEST!
