Eyecare Plus Optometrists

Expensive, unhelpful staff, no clear/signed info until you ask specific questions (I assume because they don't want to scare you off).

I took my sunglasses to be resized and the staff were amazing! 4 pairs done in 10min and I wasn’t charged. Incredible customer service!

My Dr referred me to Eyecare Plus - who had told me they were really good as I was having eye issues that the Dr was unable to get to the bottom of - Eyecare Plus was a terrific experience! I saw 'Murray' who was extremely thorough and talked me through every test and step. I felt like I was treated with the uppermost care and respect, all my questions were answered and the diagnosis was accurate and therefore my issue got resolved with the correct prescribed medication. Highly recommended - Professional, intelligent and empathic service!

Jacqui and her team are absolute professionals. The attention to detail, service and aftercare are excellent. I travel all the way from Doreen to see Jacqui and her team as their expertise and service is of the highest quality. Recently, I had become concerned with my prescription glasses. I could no longer read whilst wearing my glasses and when going shopping I could not read the writing on the labels. This is something that had never troubled me before. I went back twice to two different optometrists to be told that there was nothing wrong with my prescription and they offered no solution. Not giving up I went to Eye Care PlusClifton Hill and they immediately understood what was going on. They were able to explain it to me in simple terms. They spent an hour testing my eyes and then offered me solutions to my current dilemma. They were amazing and would recommend them to you all.

Jacqui is the most thorough Optometrist I've ever had! This practice has been used by my family for years now. The level of professionalism is outstanding and I quite simply wouldn't trust anyone else with my eye health now. Highly recommend to all.

I was recommended to come here to see Jacqui when I had continual problems with my glasses made from Specsavers. I ended up wasting $$$$ for my multifocals from Specsavers and gave up when they clearly had no idea and no interest in rectifying the problem. Even though I was told my eye check was "complete" at Specsavers, I realised it wasn't until Jacqui tested my eyes so thoroughly and picked up something they didn't! She explained everything in detail including what my prescription meant and why I was having problems and thoroughly went over the health of my eyes. My check at this optometrist took over 45 minutes versus only 15 minutes at Specsavers. The rest of the staff were genuine, not pushy at all and all so lovely - a truly different experience to any where else. They have so many fabulous frames to choose from and they even went out of the way to order other colours for me to look at without any obligation or cost? ! I am settled with my new multifocals and I love my Face a Face frames. I can finally see and have gotten so many compliments since wearing my new glasses. The cost of the multifocal part ended up being about the same as Specsavers anyway (or maybe even less?) but the surface quality definitely seems so much "cleaner". So much better value at Eyecare Plus Clifton Hill with personalised and genuine service - I didn't feel like I was talking to regurgitating robots! I have since recommended my family and friends here who have also said the same thing about the type of eye testing and service you get at this place. Should've gone to Specsavers. NOT!
