Extensions Unlimited were simply amazing! From the very first point of contact to the handover at the end, it was just seamless, much like a well-oiled machine. Barry West, the designer, listened to what we wanted and came up with a design we were so happy with. He has a real eye for detail and made our second storey extension blend seamlessly with our existing period home.
Brett, our Project Manager was great too and kept us informed via sending us schedules every few weeks. He was always available to take our call if needed and very helpful.
We lived in our house while the second storey went on; we were a bit worried how we would cope, living in a construction site, but it honestly was so easy.
We would recommend Extensions Unlimited to anyone looking for a builder. We are over the moon with our result!

From the start, Gary was open and honest. He listened and nailed the brief. From there, Brett and his team were amazing. Responsive and easy to communicate with. Even during the wettest October on record they did a great job of protecting the build as well as making sure it kept moving. We extended our home (up) with Extensions Unlimited and we could not recommend them enough! The process from start to end delivered what we wanted and more. On time and on budget. The ladies in the office were very professional, friendly and always answered any questions we had about the process. Ted was our designer and he was just terrific with us and really listened to our suggestions. The final result was better than we hoped. We could not have asked for a better project manager in Nick. Nick is amazing at what he does, is very professional and always took the time to listen and explain anything we didn't understand. We lived in our home through our extension and Nick always considered our needs through the build. Ritchie and Travis were our carpenters and they are just awesome at what they do. All of the trades involved in the build were highly professional and all did a great job. We want to thank everyone at Extensions Unlimited including the owners for helping us build our dream spaces upstairs. We absolutely love our home!

We engaged Extensions Unlimited for a second story renovation of a free standing house on a strata title. Our appointed designer Barry was fantastic and really made our vision of what we were trying to achieve come to life. He listened to all our needs and kept the charm of our California bungalow as requested, as well as designing a functional internal space, giving us the second living zone we wanted as our kids approached the teenage years. Penni in permits was great and guided us seamlessly through this portion getting us to building stage. Our appointed project manager Emilio was super. He was a pleasure to deal with and helped us navigate living through the build. The appointed trades were fantastic and did a fabulous job. The company directors were great at checking in and letting us know they were available if needed.

Our earliest interactions were with Barry who gave us his time and enthusiasm to help develop our vision for what our home could be and we now get to live in it! Penni and Adam had everything under control in the pre-commencement phase and Emilio handled the pressure like a pro, even with the clients where ringing him up at all hours. I’m sure that there are plenty of other people who we didn’t deal with day to day that have played a part in extending our home and we can’t thank them enough. EU’s group of subcontractors were also amazing to deal with.

People in our local areas have been constantly watching the extension develop and have passed comment, even knocked on our door to find out our experience. Needless to say we have recommended EU to be their first call.

I could not be happier with my experience with Extensions Unlimited. The design they came up with for the second story has perfectly suited our lifestyle, turning a small 3 bedroom home into a 4 bedroom, 2 office, 2 living area home with space for everyone to spread out but also accommodate two people working from home.
The build itself was far quicker than the anticipated timeline, which we greatly appreciated during an incredibly cold and dreary Melbourne winter. This included us making some modifications along the way. The whole team were as invested as we were with the outcome, and worked hard to deliver above expectations.

It was seamless from the start with the initial sales and drafting process handled by Barry, through to the actual build onsite being directed by Matt. The overall process of dealing with Extensions Unlimited was seamless, and started with a really collaborative and engaging design process. The team were able to navigate some tricky council issues, as well as manage the whole process in-and-out of lock downs. The project was delivered on cost and in time, inline with expectations. As always, there were a few call backs and the team were always on the front foot and ensured we were left happy with the end result. We're very much looking forward to enjoying the new space! We were looking for a local builder to complete our second storey extension. We found Extensions Unlimited and from the first meeting through to completion the whole team were great. Professional and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. Even though we were building during COVID lockdowns and with all those challenges (materials, labour etc) the EU team went above and beyond to make sure our build went as smoothly as possible and that everything was as we wanted it. Extensions Unlimited surpassed all of our expectations from design to build completion. Professional, courteous and transparent in all of their costings. Reasonably priced, considering a large part of our selection of this company was the inclusion of a project manager to deal with all the sub contractors.
Our project manager, Nick's communication was constant and helpful, especially in confusing COVID time. The build team of Ritchie, Trav and Moose became family, and took on the project as if it was their own house. They took great pride in their work, and were happy to consider minor adjustments to make the project perfect.

Extensions Unlimited did an outstanding job of our second story extension, we were extremely happy with the outcome and highly impressed with the level of service. From initial consultations until completion all members of the team were professional and worked with us in understanding our needs and answering questions we had. Our extension was completed much sooner then we expected and through an excellent design by Extension Unlimited designer and the hard work and very efficient organisation of the project manager and tradespeople we now have a home which meets all our needs. We would recommend them to anyone!

After speaking with a number of companies, I am so happy that we chose to go with extensions unlimited for our second story build and renovation of our downstairs area. From the first meeting right through the whole process, the team was great to work with. I found everyone to be friendly, and very open and receptive to any questions, changes I may have had. I was always informed exactly where the project was at, and what was coming next. Also with Covid and the lockdown, the team was amazing and was still able to complete on schedule which really impressed us. Since the completion I have had strangers walking by, stop and comment on how great the extension looks and how well it blends in with the existing build. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to do an extension.
