Explorers Early Learning - Abbotsford/Richmond

My son, James V, attended this centre in Surrey Hills in 2020 during the pandemic. The location is very accessible via public transport. All the educators, the front desk, Manager (Sophie W.), and chef were all friendly. James had to leave the centre as we moved to the country.
We truly missed how they cared and showed love for our child and watched him hit his milestones during his time at EEL.
You guys deserve more than 5 stars! Well done to you all!

Our daughter loved coming to Explorers in Surrey Hills. Yapinder is wonderful with all the children and our daughter always lit up when she saw her. Knowing she was not only cared for, but loved, made the childcare journey so much easier than I ever could have hoped. We only transferred to another facility because we moved away, otherwise we never would have left Explorers.

Great team, they really care about my son and keep him super active every day. Would recommend.

We've used many childcare centres in the past 6 years as we've moved around but our children have always settled in best at an Explorers Centre. Our youngest particularly enjoys the Surrey Hills centre with its view of the trains. She loves trains and it was always the easiest thing to distract her with at drop off. She doesn't need distracting now - she loves attending too.

The staff are always welcoming and professional. They have always felt trustworthy and reliable. And turnover seems low. We always see the same friendly faces there!

We are constantly recommending Explorers to friends and we whole heartedly recommend the Surrey Hills centre.

The centre is clean and bright. The educators and staff are amazing. They genuinely care for our children and we get photos and reports everyday of the activities they are undertaking and the skills they are learning. The communication from the centre is very good and the onsite catering for the children is nutritious and exciting (even for picky toddlers!).

My daughter has attended Explorers at Surrey Hills since she was 10 months old. She is now 2.5 years old and I can honestly say she is thriving because of the environment that Explorers has set up for her. The educators are nurturing and encouraging, they are like family to us. Our toddler looks forward to seeing her educators and friends so we hardly have any problems at drop offs. There is low turnover of staff which is something important to us; she has had the same group of educators care for her since her first day as a baby. I am glad we chose to send her here and would highly recommend this centre to others too.

I did my research before sending my daughter here and it paid off. I love the detail and individual care Explorers put into my childs wellbeing and education. I recommend these guys to anyone who wants wholisitc care for their child.

Our little Boy loves all the staff, the food, and his friends. Every time he is their I am happy and comforted that all the staff/ educators have got all the kids best interest in mind. Great job everyone.

Love this centre! Very friendly staff and lovely resources. Indigenous culture is embedded throughout their program which is fantastic.

We have been at Explorers Surrey Hills since it opened. It is our first experience of day care, and it has spoiled us for life. We are so grateful for the care, attention and love that the carers give to our child. His routine is carefully considered and supported, and the educators plan so many different opportunities to engage him in play and learning. At pick up time, the educators always have time for a chat, to fill us in on the day and share stories so that we don't miss out. We cannot recommend the wonderful team at EEL Surrey Hills enough, they feel like our second family.

Explorers Surrey Hills has been a wonderful experience for us. It’s a beautiful centre where the children do lots of various activities and staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly. Our toddler has really thrived and learned a lot from such a lovely team!

My child has been attending this centre since it opened and is so well cared for and supported. Also very happy with the level of communication, receiving updates, photos and information about my child's activities is so helpful. Being local it's also handy for public transport as it's just around the block from the station.

We have had the privilege to watch the centre establish and grow from obtaining their licence to now thriving into their 2nd year of running. We were patient to start with, not in a hurry to enrol our son but we were impressed by the consistency of staff rostering, promises made and kept, familiar faces and just the warm demeanour of each staff member and management team members. Being on the parent committee has also opened my eyes to the transparent and willing approach they have to not only achieving excellence and maintaining high standards but also to keep parents happy and in the know'. Well done to Beste, Sophie and Nakita and everyone in the management department who make the centre professional and warm and connected. They are an asset to the brand and we hope to add a new member to the EEL family soon

Wonderful child care centre with excellent staff and a modern and engaging facility. Management team is excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly recommend.

We love Explorers and have been with the centre for four years now. Originally at Abbotsford/Richmond, we moved across to Surrey Hills when it opened early 2019 and always find the Explorers team extremely caring and organised!

We couldn't be happier with Explorers -Surrey Hills. Explorers is a beautiful community of caring educators, passionate and responsive management, and lovely families. It’s been great for us and we know our daughter is well loved and cared for.

Love this centre. Both my children have attend for the last 4 years, since they were 6mnths old. All the teachers are friendly and attentive to all the children as well as the parents. They always do creative activities with the children no matter what age. Would highly recommend Explorers Early Learning Centre.
