Ex Lion Tamer / Nude Food Breakfast Bar

Came here on Friday 10/11 for takeaway coffees. Unfortunately service was extremely slow, and coffee was awful.

Did we eat here on the cook’s day off? Cause the reviews I read did not reflect our experience at all. Coffee was good BUT the food… my man said it was the worst burger he’d ever eaten! Bacon was burnt to a crisp. Tiny serving for $20. My Mexican chicken bowl was sad. Shredded cabbage was bitter. Corn chips stale & the rest was sloppy. Couldn’t finish it.

It was very busy expected to wait a while for food, Wasn't long at all.
Talk about great service this place is a must, I'd definitely eat here again.

Scrambled eggs was silky smooth and plain croissant was delicious, soft and buttery (not the flaky or crispy style croissant).
The price of plain croissant was a little steep at 8 bucks.

I was so confused about the “beef noodle salad” looks like that.lol
It’s not salad at all. Fortunately it tastes okay.

Fantastic food and service. Coffee was not to my taste and the space was a bit cold. Could not fault the service or the food.

Staff are always so lovely in here and meals always yummy. The Chef seems to take real pride in his work, winning me over on the special and then asking me how it was after we’d finished.
Coffee is great too. We’ve been back a few times now and for a couple that don’t get out much due to young kids, that’s saying something lol!

My all time favourite place for breakfast. The food is always amazing and the staff are super accommodating and friendly.

If I could give 6 stars for service, I would!

First, the menu options - definitely an A+ for the healthy as well as vegetarian options! They even had a vegetarian burger with pagodas for patty! Yayy! I'll definitely have to come back after my "new year no deep fried food" phase wears off!

I had the chilli scrambled eggs. They came with less visible red chilli sauce and stuff but did pack a bit of a bite. They also came with some really different (I think) the fennel bulb shavings.it added an unusual freshness to the food, and it added a nice crunchy texture!

My hubby's coffee came with gorgeous latte art, and he loved it! So, I reckon the chefs and baristas know what they're doing.

The best part, I guess, was that my hubby dropped his fork while he was recounting something animatedly.the waitstaff heard/saw it from across the room and without even asking for it came and replaced his cutlery! Such attentive staff!

That combined with the good food and this place just bumped itself in my TOP 3 in Bendigo!

Good expresso. Nice blueberry friand but a noisey atmosphere. Not so much from the climate but mostly due to all the hard surfaces, there is little to absorb sounds, so overall it can be quiet noisy, but worth it for an espresso wait a good crema.

Breakfast with a large group was no problem; no long waits for food or coffee. The staff were great, food was delicious and the waffles were beautifully presented! Cannot fault anything. Will definitely visit next time I’m in Bendigo.

They have taken a good Cafe to great with new ownership and coffee beans. Food is delicious with an Asian fusion to many classics.

The team at Nude Food were extremely accommodating of our large family group. They arranged for each person to pre order, and each order was delivered very quickly and accurately.
Very happy with the wonderful service and great food.
Highly recommended this business.

Staff were friendly. Ordered the cheese burger. Pretty ordinary burger and it came with no sides Reminded me of a cheese burger from Maccas. $16.00 is over priced for what it was.

The team here are a well oiled machine!

Our breakfast order and drinks were out in quick time and is a credit to them.

Amazing and delish, perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and cherry tomatoes.

We will be back on our next visit to Bendigo for breakfast

Maybe it was just the burger but they were disgusting. Just like McDonald's. Not the sort of food a cafe should sell. To be fair, other dishes people had looked fine and the service was great. Just avoid the burgers. And the chips were pretty bad too.

This is my first ever review, never have I felt the need to leave a review but the owners need to hear this feedback. Customer service is everything, the staff were so rude and looked like they didn’t want to be there. Food was plunked onto the table without asking who ordered what. I gave two stars because chicken burger was good, however the chicken salad looked awful (kind of like cat food) and I did not eat it. Overall my breakfast experience left me feeling like I wasn’t supposed to be there, or maybe the staff just didn’t like us? I was uncomfortable and will never be back. I hope this review helps the owners because the place has so much potential

Delicious breakfast and attentive service. I would highly recommend this Cafe for a meal or a quick coffee. The prices were reasonable and it is located in a good area for parking.
