My favourite music store, staff are so lovely and helpful and even if they don’t sell a product they have managed to get a hold of it for me.

I needed a violin string fixed today and the friendly team were able to restring it for me on short notice and for a very reasonable price:)

If you're looking for an honest and trustworthy music store this is the place to go. All the guys are so welcoming. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll order it in for you. We drive an hour just to go here and if we're ever in the area we always have to drop in just to say hello.

Dropped in Easter Saturday for some strings, super friendly and no pressure place to visit. Guys were fantastic and quite knowledgeable.

Very friendly and helpful staff; wanted drum kit wasn't in but they found when it was coming in and gave some very useful info for drums as I'm in the market for a new drum kit

I was able to try out an electric guitar I have been wanting and then when I bought it, they tuned it for me.

So helpful. Michael took the time to make sure we got a beautiful sounding guitar.

I went to Coleman's Sat, to shop for a few parts. His feral looking, GenZ staff were useless and unwilling to help, & too lazy to look in a catalogue I knew had what I needed, lying to me stating they no longer supplied said parts! Pfft!

Went to visit Luke & his dad @ Evolution music, & BANG, HIS AMS catalogue had all the parts I wanted, that Coleman's said didn't exist! He ordered me what I wanted, & gave me a discount!

THAT is service for you! I now take all my music business to Luke! DO yourself a favour, SE musos and support a REAL muso's music shop!

They have a wide range of stock, unlike Coleman's who all seem to be top end, $5K Gibsons and B&Gs!

Yep, Evolution music is THE place to go for all your musical needs in the outer SE subs!

They fixed the fret buzz on a guitar that I didn't buy from them for no charge. That's kinda incredible service in this day and age. Very impressed. Will be purchasing and doing bass lesson with them.

Went in for strings and picks. I came out knowing this would be the place to go to for more substantial purchases.

So impressed by the level of service I received. Bought an amp and acoustic guitar from these guys at a great price and it was shipped the same day. It arrived only two days later to Brisbane. Plus I received top notch communication from the seller as well. Thanks Luke! Very happy indeed.

NICE, HONEST, HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. The gentleman who owns the store really was just the nicest man. Called him (due to covid) to ask about an entry level acoustic as I'm just getting back into playing. He walked me through the pros and cons of certain pieces, he didn't try to sell me the most expensive one and was incredibly friendly. Plus he gave me discounts on accessories like a carry bag. But the biggest thing, the thing that will keep me coming back, was when my bill came to $259 dollars. I had $250 in cash and said I'll just put the rest on my card. But when it came time he refused and said "you listened to my advice, just have fun playing again".
I will always go out of my way to go back to him for any future musical needs. While I didn't dislike them, he was nicer and more helpful than the people at Coleman's music just down the street. Thet were ok, but they ain't no Evolution Music

I bought two Ukuleles from here,
the price ended up being over my budget,
so they gave me a great price for everything!
They always seem happy to put in a cheaper and more affordable deal for anyone!

I felt a bit ripped off but then my friend went there again and they gave a good deal on a lot of equipment. I like it when businesses are flexible that way

This store has a much more relaxed environment, and the instruments I played were all well set up.

A few months ago I spent a day visiting music stores and trying out a few guitars.
Compared to the 2 other music stores, this place felt like a musicians home.

Being able to pick up a guitar that is ready to play, is just so great!

Also found their prices on the items that I have researched, are often cheaper than other stores in melbourne.

I'd say they are intuitive shop keepers.

Looking forward to trying out a Tokai Bass when restrictions are lifted.

Bought the Epiphone hummingbird acoustic eletric guitar. It's a family owned business and I must say Michael is a thorough gentlemen with sound knowledge about the different guitars. Would definately buy my future guitars and accessories from him. I would recommend this place anytime who is looking for decent guitars at affordable prices. Thanks Michael
