Eureka Stockade Gardens reviews
21Pleasant gardens with a heap of history. Their are plaques and signs everywhere yo help you understand what happened. There is toilets and a playground too
Just passing by but never knew it was there.quite a trip down memory lane! Interesting and insightful.but could do with better seating facilities and maybe a covered pavilion for visitors would make this a great spot
Perfect place for picnic or barbecue with family & friends, has play equipment for children to enjoy and there is a museum to go and look at also. It was peaceful. There is toilets also at the park. Recommended for other people to visit.
Great family area for a BBQ or picnic or a kick of a football or even just sit by the lake and watch the birds.
Beautiful parklands. Calming lake. Great playground for the kids. Cant wait to have a bbq there.
Great family value, 2 adults, 2 kids $18
A massive amount of information and displays of the Eureka Stockade, a must do visit when in Ballarat
Very pleasant place. Good for picnics with lots of lawn, and some table and seats. Easy parking, no costs.
Most of it is closed due to covid.
Would like to visit when all restrictions have been lifted to get a better informed opinion
Not bad for a small park lots of places for a picnic under the trees.
Kids loved the play area With the pond and ducks
Great playground for kids and adults. The slides are great and the tunnels are adult friendly. Loved our time here
This is a brilliant play area right next to the swimming pool and the Eureka Centre. There are many elements to the playground and is suitable for all ages. There are nearby toilets, plenty of picnic tables, a rotunda, large carpark and of course, The Eureka Centre.
The grounds nearby are excellent, plenty of grassy areas to play ball games or have a picnic.
A must visit with the kids when in Ballarat.
A lovely park with huge shady trees. A nice undercover BBQ and picnic area. The kids loved the playground but it had a few large drop-offs (like a rock climbing wall) which made the parents nervous. We drove from Melbourne and it was just off the freeway and easy to find.
We love this playground! It is a newly discovered one for us but the play equipment is great for all ages and we love the little lake to walk around.
Lovely park with a big playground for little ones. Currently has some areas blocked off but is very safe
Beautiful tree filled, grassy park, perfect for picnics and family gatherings and outdoor games. A magical playground for children beside an historical museum.
Well laid out park with gravel walkways. Plenty of history with monuments sculpture and plaques to make sure we get the message
Beautiful gardens in Australia's most important memorial to democracy and worker's rights
Well worth diverting off the highway!
Had to carry my son kicking and screaming back to the car he didn’t want to leave.
Lots of space, very nice to come and have lunch at.bit cold in winter (bring a coat!) Lots of dog walkers and the play ground looks fun. Good for a picnic.
