Eton Restaurant

This restaurant has a dine-in menu, and a buffet. When we chose dine-in, they said they ‘encourage’ a buffet as coupled with their Uber Eats orders, it was hard to juggle. When I gave them a pretty standard list of what we wanted, they said they had this and it could be done. This was at 8.05 p.m. We checked with them after the first 20 mins and were told it would be five minutes more as they has mistaken our order as a takeaway in the kitchen and packed it in containers and now had to empty it. 20 minutes later, 1 dish had arrived. 10 minutes later, we were told 5 minutes more. When we insisted on an exact time, we were told 15 minutes more. At this point, we cancelled our order and left. Very poor customer service and no care for customer’s time.

Today had a great experience on occasion of my friend’s birthday. Buffet was overall fantastic and staff was cooperative with us. Must try chicken biryani and Fish 65 which I would give 5/5 ratings.

$22.50 buffet and opens late. Food can be a bit cold at times, but the quality otherwise is incredible. It's so good to taste some decently spicy food too.

Had the dinner buffet after a good climbing session across the road. Many vegetarian options. Very good chai. Friendly staff. Some of the options are a bit on the spicy end so best to check with staff if you’ve got a low spice tolerance.

Very Taste Food, so many things to choose at Buffet. More often provide complimentary drinks together.

Last night went for dinner around 11: 00pm they told meanu is not available only buffet is serving. The item in buffet are dry and hard. Biryani was very very spicy. And i think they open restaurant late hours to get rid off leftovers

I have been visiting this place almost every week since 2 months. The buffet is just $21.95 and is unlimited. They never compromise on their quality and they are never stingy about their quantity either. I have now become a regular customer and even the staff have started noticing it! I hope they continue serving us without getting complacent in the future. All the best!

One of the best restaurants in clayton, delicious food, wonderful staff and service. The buffet is best and plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, worth it.

Worth every penny, buffet for 21.95 bucks filled with most chettinad cuisine like biryani, chicken, mutton gravy, sides, desserts and tea. Customer service is awesome! Definitely recommend it especially for families. Worth driving 30kms from city.

Visited this restaurant twice, once for a la carte and once for buffet. Was impressed both times with taste and quality. Buffet was really value for money as the spread is good. Taste wise little on the mild side for a chettinad cuisine but still quite impressive.
Dessert could have been better but no complaints as I was full from number of choices in entree and main course.
The place is clean, food is well presented and staff are kind.
Overall it was great experience for me.

We went to Eton with the family for dinner, amazing food, proper south Indian style, dindukal briyani and kozhi rasam was awesome, tandoori chicken proper taste, not too much masala like dosa hut. Enjoyed the value meal.

Took my two daughters there a couple of nights ago.lovely buffet towards the rear of the restaurant, all you can eat for about $22 per person.excellent Indian/ Asian cuisine.
We bought a well known bottle of red. (we think at bottle shop prices!) Ample parking just outside the busy road. (a great find thanks to one of my daughters)

Although the restaurant has been supposedly open for more than two years, we only recently found out about Eton. Since then we have visited the restaurant twice and have loved the food on both the occasions. On the first visit we tried their Curry pack, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We also tried the Kothu Parata and were impressed with the taste. Although personally I would have preferred to have more pepper in it.

On the second visit we had the weekend buffet and it was impressive again. The only qualm I had was most of the dishes had a touch less salt in them and spice levels were quite mild to my preference. Overall loved the food, presentation and the service

I visited the place 2 weeks before with family Enjoyed buffet full package- good food and decent verity.now I visited again and to my surprise, their is a reduction in the items. 4-5 items were removed from buffet and the cost is same.feedback to owner- please don't reduce menu size on buffet. This is a very common mistake most people do. You may have short term gains. If you need to cover your overhead cost without impacting margins, please work on pricing, your raw material sourcing, efficiencies in kitchen, more customer visit strategies.look for a long term growth and customer satisfaction.

We held a function here and the owner was accommodating. Tasty food, nice atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff.

The staff were friendly, the food was incredibly delicious, affordable, and was quickly brought out. The setting was clean, neat, and stylish - I absolutely adored the artworks and frames on the walls

Very authentic South Indian food! Highly recommend. Chettinadu Panner, Goat sukka, goat biriyani was very nice!

Ordered take away chicken 65 briyani, hardly 4 pieces of chicken for $18. Other items we ordered were also average.

We went for birthday party and service was so slow. There were around 30-40 people and 2 staff to serve them, I literally felt bad about those staff. Snacks was good and tasty but not enough for all the guest, dinner items were not bad. They didn't have enough plate and spoon to serve the guest bit embarrassing.
